Paul is a man with a truly amazing spirit and incredible intellect. He has the gift of clear sight, compassion, humour, centredness, curiosity, and deep wisdom - all of the things the greatest spirits have always had.
Although we've never met in person, I don't think that really matters much. We have met on many other levels and I have left those 'meetings' refreshed and with a feeling of renewed hope for our world.

I am working on an ambitious trilogy of near future SF novels. Three books in a sentence: the wholesale collapse of Earth's ecology triggers a cascade of evolutionary conflicts.
The first book depicts conflicts between decaying nation states and neotribal alliances of scientists.
The second book depicts conflicts in near-Earth space between new human subspecies and a biotechnological technological singularity called Gaia that runs Earth.
The third book depicts conflict between transhuman species and the emergence of multiple posthuman technological singularities throughout the solar system.
Vulcan, whom the Romans call Hephaestus, and who is the inventor of the Gods and the husband of Athena, created IVF fertilization so that he might bear children with his wife, the testy Athena. Athena, refusing to submit to have one of her eggs extracted from her inviolate womb, fled from the intellectually aroused Vulcan into the realm of the Titans, a place of great black waves and bright explosions.
