I'm a kind man who tries to make the world a better place - and himself, a better person. I am in good health (despite living with cancer), have a positive spirit, and a bright mind. I am a teacher, a writer, and an artist. I am well-educated, creative, and have a good sense of humor - sometimes a quick wit, sometimes silly. I have a bit of a romantic streak and remember important dates. I am responsible, reliable, and honest. At the same time, I am independent and tend to think and live "outside the box." I view both gender and sexual orientation as a continuum, rather than as a fixed event or tendency. I dislike roles and stereotypes. I adore cats. I've just returned to San Francisco after living a year and a half in northern Thailand and I miss the quiet, lush greenery, the slow easy pace of life, the authentic kindness and generosity of the people, and their beautiful heart-warming smiles. I am not all that concerned with money but quality of life is very important to me. I value friendship and truth. Life is short and I want to live it well.
