Me thinks it's time to take a new apprentice. The apprentice would be female and possess a curious mind about the nature of pleasure/pain. Sometimes I hate my body. but its the only one i have so I'm stuck with it. For several days its been doing just great. The workouts have been getting better and more fun. I like the spring in my step the youthful feel in my muscles. But! You could hear the BUT coming couldn't you...

It's been hard work but it's beginning to pay off.

I can do 2 - 20 minute workouts on the ski machine - about 1.5 miles each - and maintain a heart rate of 135 without pain. Then lift weights for for 2 or 3 reps... For me lifting any weights is good. that makes it a 30 minute work out. feeling a lot better.

Yup the knees are shaky after but considering that when I started ...1 minute was all I could do.
