The other day I was sitting and reflecting on the past few years of my life. One name kept coming back to me, over and over and over. Karen. Karen Emmel. You will always be Karen Emmel to me. I have know you for so many years, you have been my backbone and my at times my own skin. You have stood by my side when no one else was there. You have loved me through it all. And I have treasured you. There is no one else quite like my Karen, no one as bitchy, as silly and as fun. Thank you for being by friend, best friend. I love you.

About a month ago, Stace and I fostered a rescue dog to help out our neighbors who have been fostering dogs. We fostered a pretty red heeler mix, named Rosie, whom we feel in love with and thought about adopting ourselves. About after a week of having her in our home, we realized that she was pregnant! I personally don't know what to do with puppies, since they need a lot of care, so Rosie went to another foster home to have her babies.

I thought this was interesting, and it's all stuff I believe to be true. My parents just celebrated 41 years of marriage on June 24th. They are my role model for a strong, loving and healthly marriage. Granted not everyone has been exposed to a lasting marriage from their parents or others, but it's still possible to have one.

about me
I moved to Tucson, AZ a year ago from San Jose, CA for my husband's job. I'm happily married to a wonderful & loving man. I have a beautiful little boy who is 2 years old. His name is Jackson...and he is the cutest little guy ever! I have 2 cats...love them dearly, because they are cute, but they drive me crazy. Since living in Tucson we have also adopted 2 dogs, named Charlie and Lola. I love to sing...can sing almost any style, although my favorite stuff are musicals. Ya ya, I know, whatever! Oh, & my favorite word to say is "Whatever". I have been described at "comically bitchy", which I do take as a compliment. Guess I'm just honest & straight forward, but in a funny way...is that really a bad thing? I think not! Hee hee hee!
