I have 9 tattoos! Most people are shocked to even find out that I have one let alone 9! I work in a photography studio as a certified photographer full time. I write fiction, usually fantasy and horror, and have not written a poem in years. I have been dancing for 5 to 6 years on and off, doing free lance belly dance. I'm also a former member of Ali Baba Studios, once operated by the late-and outstanding-Joyce Daniels. I've also danced with Daughters of the Desert, run by Zina bint Badia.

Jerome, Arizona

This weekend I went to Jerome, a sleepy little artsy town that is rich in history and perfect for photo opportunities. This is my second time going, and I love it! I'll most likely be visiting it again in the near future, and I don't mind that it takes two hours just to get there from the Valley. It's worth the drive.

There are two outstanding stores there that sell belly dancer oriented items. The first is a small store, a Bazar, (I don't know the exact name! >_<) that sell gorgeous skirt... read more

Pho...photog....photography...Photography!--a shameless plug...

Well, maybe I'm biased, but when you compare the quality of pictures Walmart or the Picture People (or any other mainstream studio) provide to those of Kiddie Kandids, I'd have to say that Kiddie Kandids is far more superior. And I'm not just saying that *just* because I work for them. But seriously look at the difference if you get the chance.
