I had a realization watchin Zoe spin like the Tazmanian Devil. She is the Tyra Banks of Bellydance 2008 (A KVZ award). Tyra has her signature look with the eyes that smile, the signature walk, the signature body... No matter who she shares her knowledge with... She's untouchable. Everyone wants it. No one else can do it. Not like her...
ZOE! She is technically a ten. She has that X Factor that is undescribable. Jaw dropping, laughing outloud, slappin your sistah on the arm cause it's that damn good entertainment. She's no flash in the pan. This gal's got the goods. Seriously... Her spins are like nothing I've ever seen before. SERIOUSLY. The stylization that she's found is fucking brilliant. Let me say it again... FUCKING BRILLIANT! Bravo, Zoe. Bravo.
I don't usually share my opinions about dance in online forums. Good or bad. I have a great eye, been in the game longer than you'd think, know more than you'd think. But really, who friggin cares, right?!?!?!?!?
I gotta speak up...
ZOE is the SHIT. The fucking shit, yo! I can't wait to see where she goes from here. A must see! I hereby grant Zoe Jakes the Tyra Banks of Bellydance 2008 award.

she's very cool......shared some good times with her on Saturday, chillin in my room with her, Mira Betz, Steven, my homegirls, laffin our asses off 'til 3 in da mornin!

When I first saw Zoe perform with the Yard Dogs at a music festival in VA a few years ago, I had no idea who she was, had never seen the Indigo, etc., and yet she completely mesmerized me to the point that I never forgot her! In fact, I watched the entire Yard Dogs Road Show twice that afternoon!
