I could go on and on about her. It'd be easy. But to me, Karlana can be summed up is one small, efficient sentance. Way to cool for words.

Ask Wildcat,
I just learned that the Wife Swap scheduled for this Friday, January 16, 2009 is suppose to be with a family from my hometown. While it should be fun to see the old neighborhood and possibly people I know, it's kind of disturbing to think that people will actually SEE where I'm from. I thought that was the best part of adulthood; escaping your past.

Oh well, I'll be tuned it. Should prove to be a hoot.
I saw the end of the rainbow!

My sister and I drove up yesterday to visit my Mom in the hospital after her back surgery. Mom is doing quite well, even after her doctor said she wins the prize for the worst case he has ever seen. Most of the family showed up so we were a bit later in leaving than originally planned. Driving across M-10 from the hospital in Midland, past Dow Chemical and all the way to I-75, we drove straight toward a rainbow. At times there were two. It was the most brilliant colored rainbow I remember seeing. I wished I had a camera with me so we could pull over and capture it. The nice thing about the area we were in is that it is as flat as the area around Bowling Green, Ohio. The rainbow at times would end at a farm, behind the distant treeline and at one point, behind a stone church steeple (oh, I wanted the camera for that one). Turning south on I-75, we came closer to the end. And there it was – the end of the rainbow. It was in a field just in front of a hardwood treeline. It was like an explosion of color. I could understand how the director of “The Wizard of Oz” made Munchkinland so bright, cheery, and brilliantly fantastic. It was amazing to see. It looked like a fantasy. There may not have been a black cauldron full of gold coins sitting there, but I am going to take it as a sign that all will be well with my Mom, and life in general.
I went out with a coworker at lunch today and we so scored! JCPenney was clearancing out a bunch of women's clothes. The rack read "$1.97." They took and additional 20% off so we got our items for $1.58 each!!!

The week of landgrab they will be doing the same with the kids clothes. I am planning on cleaning them out! :)
There I was, at work on Tuesday and not feeling like doing my work. I went over to another department to see if I could do some of their work - just because it wasn't mine. She gave me some merchandise inventory sheets.

Now my radio is next to my adding machine which is next to my telephone, taking up about a 2 1/2 foot space total. The radio people have a music timeline game going on. The year ended up being 1986; the year I graduated high school. I call and actually win! They ended up giving me a two pack of prizes (two for Tuesday). I got a pair of ticket to see Psychic Medium Rebecca Rosum for July 18 and then a family four pack of tickets to do the chocolate exhibit at the Henry Ford, anytime thru September. This is going to be fun.
Bucko was out of town last week for work and when he came home Friday he saw the difference in Nico. Little guy has been standing independently, a lot. He's even stood and danced to music. But, we went on Saturday to visit our friends who just graduated doctor school and they confirm... little guy is walking. We've all seen him take up to three steps at a time. Right now he's big on taking the steps close enough so he can dive bomb into your lap.

Wonder just how many scrapes and bruises we're in for at Pennsic?
