Climber-Writer-Photographer living in Yosemite for many years. Life is Good.
I meditate, commune in higher truth and seek a more open heart. I like to Dance and Jump into icy rivers. I like Adventure of most sorts. I live in Yosemite's beauty and am attracted to natural beauty of all kinds. I try to respect people with other views and be friends with everyone. I believe in unconditional Love and am friends with most of my ex-girlfriends. (and have nothing but love for the ones who I've lost touch with) I've lived in India, guided River Trips and Rockclimbing, and traveled throughout the Himalayas and Southeast Asia. I'm lazy about what I'm not inspired about. Unfortunately, I believe depletion of Oil is about to create a state of economic disaster worldwide and we'll all have to work and network together to make the transition to low power lifestyle. That's best done with love and understanding for all. I don't have taboo subjects. I would like to face everything with open eyes, and accept reality as I see it. This year I developed hardcover photobooks of my photography (mostly Yosemite Images, but I have burning man ones too) between 20 and 39 pages that I have printed one at a time. The need for constant growth and expansion is unsustainable and can only lead to depletion of resources and pollution. Corporations are soulless entities, legally required to maximize shareholder profit as the first priority.
