about me
My interest in the Divine and Its workings has been kindling in my being since I can remember myself. As I mature, my mystical knowledge is ever increasing alongside my spiritual gifts. I’ve been blessed by the Divine Mother for granting me with wonderful and supportive parents and great teachers, whom I praise in deep gratitude.
I posses a syncretic outlook on all spiritual traditions and paths — I firmly believe that we all look up to the same One, though we use different languages and tools to address and petition Its Greatness. My personal spiritual discovery led me to the Divine Mother; and I’ve been deeply committed to Her path for over ten years. When I channel Her presence in the lotus of my heart I feel The Goddess especially intensely in Her form as Tara, the fierce and primordial Mother Goddess of India. In 2003 I’ve been initiated into Her mysteries and into an authentic tantrik lineage by my root teacher, Ras. Chandra Alexandre (learn more about Chandra’s work at SHARANYA’s website. Tara is my ishtadevi (Sanskrit), the goddess residing in my heart, although I frequently work with myriad emanations of the Divine Mother — Laxmi, Oshun, Guadalupe, Kali, Isis, Shechina, Dasha Mahavidya (ten tantric goddesses of wisdom), to name a few. I also worship and work with the masculine principle of the Divine, as I believe both masculine and feminine energies are constantly pulsating through everything within and without, above and below to make up the fabric of our illusive reality while at the same time being its guiding light. I was born in Moldova, raised in Israel, and settled in California in 1999. I enjoy traveling, and have been lucky to learn of many cultures and customs while visiting different countries and seeing almost all the continents. (Australia, you’re on my map!) In 2006 I made a pilgrimage to Calcutta, India — the land of the Mother — a deep spiritual experience that still unfolds in my being and pulsates through me with Her power, grace and guidance. In addition to my Hindu and Judeo-Christian background, I am a follower of the HooDoo (African-American folk-magic) tradition. I studied this craft with Miss Cat Yronwode (the proprietor of Luck Mojo Curio Co.). Most often in my spiritual work I utilize HooDoo principles of conjure and root-work, while combining it with Hindu tanrik magic. The fusion of Hindu and HooDoo, two of my spiritual traditions, became the basis for www.SHAKTICONJURE.com. I won’t be stirring my pots too much by saying that for me, both traditions complement each other beautifully. I don’t know what kind of food you like, but a good Soul Food dish as well as a delicious Curry will need some hot spices to make it a culinary perfection. And hot spices is what www.SHAKTICONJURE.com is all about! Mystical Expertise I am a hereditary oracle, receiving my gift of sight via a maternal line. My mother is a psychic as well, though she uses playing cards while I use the Tarot and Obi divination in my readings. As far as I know, our power came through my maternal grandfather, who was born with a veil — a rare occurrence predicting of spiritual power. In conjure, I utilize the power and knowledge available to me to foster love, prosperity, goodness and peace. I do not perform “harming” magic — i.e. separation of lovers, cursing of an enemy, death spells, etc. In addition, I build altars, facilitate and teach ritual, magic, meditation methods and well-being techniques. I also use my spiritual gifts for healing. I became a Level 1 Reiki Practitioner in the lineage of Usui Shiki Ryoho in 2002. Since then I developed a unique holistic approach to natural, hands-on healing in combination with magical remedies; incorporating Reiki, Intuitive Healing, HooDoo and Tantrik techniques to facilitate positive change, alignment of energetic flow, and removal of psycho-spiritual blockages. Currently I am constructing a divination workshop, Tarot and the Tantrik Path, as I continue focusing my energy on SHAKTI CONJURE and develop new spiritual products and unique designs. In India it is customary to bathe in the sacred water of a ghat (temple pool) or in the Ganges river before entering a shrine. Washing one’s face and hands after entering a synagogue, or washing in a mikve (a pool of rain water) is common in the Jewish tradition. And while sweat lodges are sacred spaces for the Native Americans, in HooDoo bathing before starting a ma... read more
