My uncle Kenny passed away on Monday, September 3, 2007. He was 51 years old.

For six years he denied that he was sick, hid his symptoms from friends and family and finally, in August 2007, was diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer (which spread to his liver).

It didn’t have to end like this. If he had had a colonoscopy years ago, then his chances for survival would have increased significantly. My aunt begged him repeatedly, but he continually refused.
