planting, sprouting, growing

The final chapter to the truck wreck saga!

   Wed, September 12, 2007 - 2:09 PM
So the stainless steel plate and titanium screws that have acted as structure for Bruce's clavical and ligaments is finally going to see daylight. The metal will be REMOVED next Thursday the 20th at 9am to be used as a nice detail in our house once we finally get started constructing our house again . . .

. . . although, actually we will be building our own yurt first here very shortly due to the fact that the owner of our current yurt now wants it back (yes, yes, right before winter after we've missed a summer of construction due to the, you guessed it, WRECK). Hal is going to lend us his shop and good yurt-mind to help us construct our own yurt! We're actually really excited about having our own yurt to have and to hold to become our studio after we eventually move out into our house . . .one day . . .

So, Bruce is excited to see the end of this mess (as am I!!) but also a little anxious to go through the pain and down time. So, hold him high and send all kinds of positive healing energy and help us see through the end of this saga.

Thank you, my dear friends.

Woohoo! Yea for Bruce's metal-reduction program! (Although I have to admit, I was getting used to the concept of Cyborg Jonah ...) Here's hoping for sound and sturfy yurt-building, as well.

Man... I hate that our paths didn't cross on the playa. But Karine and I will eventually be in Asheville again. A good dark beer on a cold winter day sounds like a winner to me.

Here's to keeping the thoughts on good yurts and mild discomforts.
