And hopefully wiser than before. At least it feel like things are getting ready to shift if I let them and don't get too impatient with myself. I had a lot of insights into how relate to the world and how much I compromise myself in order to make sure I am worthy of love... Aside from exciting personal epiphanies, I had an awesome time with all sorts of family and consumed a lot of meat, homemade cookies and alcohol and thus gained some much needed pounds. (yeeey I have boobs again!!) I do have to say that I enjoyed pork immensely, it seems to be a meat that agrees with my body better than others. Pork fat, too (a staple in traditional Austrian cuisine) seems to be easily processed by my metabolism. I keep on having to revamp certain prejudices against certain foods! I don't think I will eat much pork around here tho because of its questionable origin and its price. And besides, salmon is so cheap here, so I think that will do to satisfy my concentrated-animal-protein cravings! That said, if anyone knows of good places to get happy meat products, let me know. The Austrian in me has reawakened!

This is awesome! After multiple delays and more than 14 straight hours of consuming things (snacks, snacks, movies, movies, food, more snacks, god they really make sure you have something to consume at all times on planes and in airports), I have awakened to a mild, semisunny day in Vienna and went for a morning stroll to find some sort of breakfast (my cousin's food stash is, well, you know, student food of the non-hippie kind). I didn't have to wander very long until I found this local market nearby! The vendors were supernice and gave me lots of free samples and extras (this one guy tossed in a bunch of grapes and a clementine for free after giving me a sample desert date "for your breakfast") I got some sauerkraut, goatcheese, smoked gouda, Bearleek (a wild green) pesto, a bag of birdsalad, cress sprouts, and YES at last!! REAL crusty austrian style mixed grain bread, sold by the meter (no seriously, it's called "meterbrot")

yey yey, I'm going to Austria. Big family reunion and all that. Lots of Wiener Schnitzel and Schnapps... Ahh how will I be able to stay away from refined sugar?!? No, not gonna happen. Life is tough.
Anyways, I'm gonna be gone for almost a whole month. I'm leaving on Monday and returning January 9th. So I just wanted to say temporary goodbye to all of you inspiring beings out there! Yeah! Lots of love! Keep on shining and wish me luck, keeping my own shine alive through family judgements......
Merry winter solstice and all that.....

We're looking for a comfy, non-manky medium or large size couch to extend our lounging capacity beyond the "pornbed"! We are willing to pick up in a reasonable radius, providing the couch will fit in a minivan. (we live near Jubilee hospital)

about me
I currently have no longterm goals other than embracing the positive and funny in life and getting better at it. "Better". Here I go again with value judgements! But you know what I mean....
I live at the GreenHouse, maybe you've heard about it. We do landscaping and gardening services and we have lots of communal dinners that are open to random potlucking!
I love to talk about food and preparing it, and about animals and plants and other things that are alive.
