I love this. I would love to be the photographer to take a picture of this. I think I could do some awesome stuff with it. It is amazing how her body art fits with her clothing.
That is too beautiful!
Beautiful colours, gorgeous photo, lush fabrics, and OMG that corset! It reminds me of something Alexander McQueen might make - and I mean that as the highest compliment. Just stunning.
Maha, I take that as the highest compliment ever!!!!
Thank you all for the compliments. Kristine is gorgeous and the photo is a fluke. I took the photo - and Im NOT a photographer by any means! The corset is made from an old housecoat from the 70's that a friend of mine found in a thrift store up in Marin. The print is of a German artist called Sulamith Wolfing (I think she was German). I believe Hitler wanted her to be his personal artist in residence- or something like that - and she fled. Her artwork is mainly of angels and children and flowers. She's always been my personal favorite artist. I love her spiritual purity that is embodied in her work. I made something for my friend out of the housecoat and then used the scraps for the corset. I thought that this print on a housecoat was crazy fun! Bringing this corset to this photoshoot was an afterthought - but it is one of my favorite photos! It seems fitting that someone like Kristine would model this Sulamith print because they both share that whimiscal inner light.
This is... I don't even know how to explain it... It's stunning. Truly stunning. I love the way the corset and the tattoos blend together. It's beautiful!
