miss katri is one of the most inspiring people I know on Tribe. Her smile alone has lifted me out of the doldrums on many of occasion. I'm glad to be on the same planet.

Katri is a technicolor flying dream in the middle of math class, a rattlecan mural in the middle of the financial district, a field of strawberries flanking the interstate. She's the proverbial olive in your martini, the clam in your linguini, and the propeller on your beanie. Without Katri, the world as I know it would be at least 1300 lumens darker most, if not all, of the time, and not nearly as funky. Get to know her; you'll like her :-)

Maybe if I had super cool teachers like Katri I would have stayed in School! KATRI ROCKS!

The other day I won an eBay auction for an AirPort Express, in an effort to make my apartment more Livable rather than just a really expensive place to contain all my shit. Just got internet hooked up last weekend, towards the same end. Anyhow, despite my best efforts and multiple attempts I couldn't fix some elusive, malignant wrinkle in the PayPal realm to confirm my shipping address, to the consternation of the seller who had VERY CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS (in red and in all caps) about shippin...

It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be rem... read more
That's what it says on the bottle of prescription meds. I find that amusing even when I haven't washed one down with a beer.

I was due for an appointment with the gynecologist later in the week. Early one morning, I received a call from the doctor's office to tell me that I had been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am.

I had only just packed everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8: 45am.The trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn't have any time to spare. As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when making such visits, but this time I wasn't going... read more
So the surgery has been postponed for a couple of weeks,as my gynecologist is on vacation for a week, and in the meantime I'm back to work, having regained most of my mobility but now I'm super aware of my body. Every twinge gives me pause, whereas I'm used to just being Woman Phenomenal and ignoring or tolerating my aches and pains. I suppose the trapeze class will get pushed to the back burner for the time being, and I probably won't be running a marathon anytime soon.
