I haven't posted since May, can that be right? Crazy! So I am due 2 weeks from yesterday and couldn't be more ready to get this over with. I have gained a total (so far) 33 lbs and still look small! People guess that I am only 6-7 months pregnant and are always surprised to here that I am due super soon. My mom came down and helped me get Cadin's room ready. We washed all of his clothes and put them away. Put the car seat in. Put the pack and play together. Packed the baby bag. So I am ready to do this. I am not scared but really excited. I can't wait to meet him. And being done with work at Fusion for awhile is a welcome change. I am not at the front desk anymore, I am now sitting in an office with a door, it is too fun. I come and go as I please. Chris will be done with school first week of September and then we are outta here! We will be moving back to La Crosse. I can't tell you how excited I am. My last Dr. appt which was yesterday, I am already at 3cm, 80%, and at a -1 station. Things are progressing really well!! I have been having contractions but nothing too serious. Well I think that is all for now. Hopefully my next update will be with pics of Cadin and new mommy.

Well it is OFFICIAL!!! We are having a baby boy. It was the first thing that we saw when the Dr. put the wand-thingy over my belly. She said, "Do you know what that is?" And Chris and I look at each other and I say, "It's a BOY!! I lost the bet!" From that moment on, Chris was all smiles. He wanted a boy so badly. The Dr. continued to look around and measure and make sure everything looked good. I have a perfect baby boy growing inside of me and now I can't wait to meet him. The Dr. said that he weighs about a 1/2 lb and that we are both right on track for how far along I am. He has all 10 fingers and 10 toes, his brain measures perfectly, I have the right amount of fluid in there - I am so happy that everything looks good. The coolest thing that happened though is I finally figured out what it feels like when he is moving around in there. He moved - I felt it - I saw it happening on the screen in front of me. SO COOL!!! So I know that it wasn't gas that I was feeling, it way my little man.
