Being a horse student now seems like some kind of karma lesson, where I’m the dummy in class. I shouldn’t say that but that’s how I feel sometimes. I remember when I first started teaching I sometimes suspected that some people couldn’t REALLY be as bad as they seemed, they had to be playing - before I learned they really were that bad - And now I know firsthand how that feels.... we are trying really hard, we just can’t get it yet!

was 22 years ago!! I thought of that the other day & could hardly believe it. I know one thing tho, after lots of solo First Nights, I much prefer doing it as a group performer, taking my students with me. And I'm very honored they share a part of that special night in service to the community. ahhh, now we can relax :-)

STOP CALLING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! My husband & I EACH have had about a dozen robo-calls from them in the last few weeks - - Obama's camp has only contacted us TWICE, once in person, & one call from Michelle. I'm going to look for the RNC online right now & COMPLAIN. If you don't hear back from me soon come looking for me, these people scare me :-(

Here's my latest finger cymbal drill for beginners: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vbOsBF0oM8&fmt=18 It goes thru a quick review of singles, doubles, rolls, & triples... then the 3-3-7 pattern, first slowly, then at a faster tempo, eventually adding a movement combination. I'm surprised that most of them (4 I think) haven't been in space before - plus they've all missed 7 days training from the hurricanes... That's a lotta nuggets on board. Love the suits tho :-)
