i recently moved to oakland from philadelphia and have spent my time since then sleeping, working, doing yoga, riding my bicycle around, gardening, attempting to find an open-source OS that gets along with my wireless card so that it doesn't crash my computer, and putting biodiesel in my car (in decreasing order of time spent on activity).
