A guy I know (no, I would not call him a friend) just lost his wife of almost 40 years. Carolyn kept Bill on track, made sure he took his medication and kept him socially involved. Carolyn had been in a rehabilitation center for the last year because she tried to have knee replacement surgery and with her diabetes the wound did not heal. Bill was left to his own devices and subsequently ended up in a mental health facility off and on over the last year. Carolyn died last week as a result ...

I am doing fabulous! My knee is still sore, but I have improved tremendously in the five days since my surgery. I am walking without assistance and while the knee is still a bit stiff, I do think the surgery has helped. What surprised me was they only cut three small incisions and I had no stitches. A friend in the biz said they usually just use come kind of glue to hold the skin together. Heading back to work on Wednesday.
