Kenosha Steam Baths are authentic Finnish steam saunas built in 1926 by the Koski Family who emigrated from Finland in the early 1900s. Unlike most modern saunas that are electric and emit only heat to raise body temperature to produce sweat, the saunas at Kenosha Steam Baths work in the traditional Scandinavian way ~ by throwing water on rocks to produce moist steam.
Kenosha Steam Baths features private baths on the main floor and a public bath for men only in the basement. No membership is required and soap and towels are provided. Secure lockers are available in the public men's bath at no charge. Prices for saunas are $16 per visit for the public bath (no time limit) and $11 per person for 1.5 hours for the private rooms.
We hope to see you soon!
