Another day another 50 cents. One day closer to the liver pickling bru-ha-ha that is Pennsic war. Once again at work and to make things even more completlly unbearable it is extremely slow today. My phone hasn't run once and there is no work to do. Goofing around on the internet only keeps me ammused for so long so I figured I'd complain about not being at Pennsic some more.

Here we go, the roughest week of the year every year for me... Peace week, most of my friends are already there. The common area's been mowed, the tavern is open for business. "bad jokes and beer" are abundant but I'm chained to my computer in my little cube trying to talk little old ladies through connecting through a VPN. All I really want to do is jump in my Jeep and go to Coopers Lake for another 10days of revelry and merriment but instead I have to WORK!! :-(

We went to sleep last night to the sounds of the pouring rain streaming through our open window. I slept through the night to the symphony of thunder and lightning. As I drempt , I drempt of Pennsic. Of wet canvass and campfire smoke. Of friends and laugher.
