about me
Welcome to my Tribe.net social website. My name is Kerry & I recently moved to Jacksonville, FL from Washington DC but grew up in Kentucky. Im always traveling & doing fun things like going to concerts & just trying to live life to the fullest. I absolutely love photography (see below) & the outdoors. I try to surround myself with positive things & positive people...always. If anything gets to be too stressful for me or gives off bad vibes, then goodbye to it.

A friend in another Tribe posted this link www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi about the benifits on ones overall health living in a city that was planned around people instead of automobiles. It really hit home with me & is right on the money.

After living in south Texas (Corpus Christi) for a year, I can totally relate. That place is completely centered around driving, even more so than most cities. For instance, ... read more

Found out a few days ago that we are moving to Washington DC next week. Mandi will be working at American University & we will be living right down in the district on U Street. Its exciting, but nerve racking too. Im sure it will pay off though.

Can't say I will miss Texas (at least Corpus) too much. Only been here a year & we love the beach, but thats about it. Also, hauling my car all around this big ass state has made me pretty sick of driving, so it will be good to be able to take the ... read more

I freakin' HATE Hummers for a number of reasons, mainly because I think they are the most careless vehicle a car company could ever make, especially in these times. Anyways, I stumbled upon a neat site called FUH2, which posts photos that people send in from around the world of them giving the H2 Hummers the old one finger salute. So, I had to send in my contribution as well, as me living in south Texas there is no shortage of enormous vehicles.

Here is the link: www.fuh2.com/

Copy of the last bulletin I ever posted on Myspace:

"Well, im gonna be deleting my myspace account soon. I have come to realize that its not a very good social networking tool, but rather a place that mostly insecure emo high school students (or younger) come to show off their half-naked pics, beg for people to leave comments, gather up as many "friends" as they can, post retarded & pointless bulletins, write mindless blogs about nothing interesting, whore out some shitty band, etc. Im not... read more

This audio file was taken from a podcast called The Maccast by Adam Christianson. In it, Adam talks about a recent PC Magazine article written by a columnist named John C. Dvorak which predicts that Apple will be discontinuing development of Mac OS X & using the Windows OS on all their computers in just a couple of years (which will NEVER happen, btw). Anyways, Adam goes off on a little rant about what makes the Mac OS so special to its users & the rest of the world. I think he sums it all up... read more
