The first time I met Matthew, he was wearing a rust orange corset and setting up an inflatable 2-person chill dome. I'd never seen him at any of our gatherings before, and I thought, this guy has his partyness together.
The next time I saw him, he was standing by the fire in some kind of dinosaur suit (?) just taking it all in, nonsense and all, without even needing to stop and catch his breath. Then I thought, wow, this guy is pretty savage.
Next thing I know, he's coming by my place one time to give me an amazing massage and dropping off the entire series of Harry Potter books. Dude! I'm blown away. He even tried to help me get a job. AND he knows how to dance!
I'm touched that you've decided to remain in contact with me tho you've moved far away, and so grateful that I have such a savage, kind and cool person gracing my life! Thank you :D

things in life can get hekka tetchy, but that's why matthew (i.e. fantastic squirrel), the red cape-clad adventure avenger is here! he can destroy millions of bloodthirsty aggro jackrabbit larvae with his high powered hacky sak fricken laser destruction arsenal. he's been offered the honorary san francisco party stealth ninja award almost two years running. he arrives in a flurry of color and light, much like the meteor showers he chases after. he sees potential and beauty in everything. he's honest and genuine, silly and quirky, hopeful and smiling. and with a wave of his hand, his reality materializes all around you...and then you just start laughing.

he's fun to dress up. makes an awesome beta-tester and model for my clothing because he makes everything look so damn good. a real sweetheart. (and he doesn't scream when i stick pins in him either. well, not too much!)

Matthew is like a decadent slice of chocolate sin. He is fun, intelligent, compelling, with a sparkling wit. He has beautiful eyes which draw you in. He knows where to go for great sushi! I'm so glad to have met him and look forward to getting to know him better.

Matthew is the kind of guy you dream of camping with. Looking for a tripped out cuddle bubble? He's got it. Sore neck from sleeping on a deflated air mattress? He's your masseur. Looking for a fellow wanderer through the blissed out fairy world forest at magic hour? Just give him a moment to throw on an acre of green fur and he's ready to roll.
Such a gorgeous sharing soul, and he's fun and funny and interesting to boot! I hope to share many more adventures with him.

Recently (8/07) I have decided to give into one of my long term dreams and begin to explore the musical side of myself. At the moment I am considering piano, ukelele, and spanish guitar. Also as part of my longer term goals I am working toward finding a sailboat and eventually live aboard (to that end I need to pair down belongings) Lastly for short term plans there is the total solar eclipse the suumer of 2009. Gotta gotta gotta go out and see that one... plans are in the works.
11-07 I've a ukulele and will be practicing on the Appalachian Trail hike.
Out of genius (or boredom) sprang the idea to connect with as many people as possible that share my name. So far I have "friended" three others...

Although it was nothing like any of the campouts I had grown familiar with in California, this weekend was a restful and exciting time.
Our campsite was spot 15 @ Fort DeSoto camping grounds in Florida, right on the water.. Each spot was partially secluded from one another and came complete with power and water. Sadly all the familiar faces from the west coast were not to be found.. as well as the music, the only thing drifting across the air were the competing vocals of Jimmy Buffet and...

Wow.. Summer doldrums are over.. In the last week there has been more interest in people employing me than the time since I arrived in Florida...
Due to the difference in licensing between FL and CA I had to get more training which usually means back to school... however Florida has a mentorship program that fulfills the same requirements.
