Here's an interesting exchange I had recently with one of the moderators of an "alternative" gay tribe.

I requested to join his tribe, but he turned me down. That's a first for me, you must understand. Not that I'm Mr. Popularity, of course. I've just never been turned down before. I inquired as to why, and here are some of the things he had to say.

There's a very interesting debate going on on Bodybuilding For Homos about whether or not to return the tribe to its original public setting. Some of the guys say they want the naughty bits removed so it can go public again, others say it doesn't matter. I'm in a real quandry here. Does anyone else have any ideas concerning this?

I just got another little note from Wade, whoever the hell he is, saying that Tribe is using censorship in order to keep from offending anyone and to celebrate diversity. It made me want to puke. This is just a bunch of liberal church-picnic bullshit. Fuck you, Wade.
