hello All you sacred beautiful spirits!! I will be located on the Playa at 3:30 and D - we will have a pretty awesome chill space at least thats what I have been told. ( or thereabouts... ) - I will be performing with TRIBAL FIRE COLLECTIVE - directly in front of the man... yep 6 o clock!! next to the Pyronauts!! (how that happened I have no freaking clue ) - we will have around 19 performers give or take some last minute additions.... and again - I will also try to be at center camp from 12 to 2ish daily to try to meet up with old / new freinds... I seem to be doing all the things as I normally do .. but there is a sort of looming depression / tiredness / weird mood in me at times, I am not exactly sure what it is - perhaps just one of those moody cancarian things that happen in the winter time. I know some of it is the recent break up - but not all of it. seems related to that. I keep hoping that it will just go away , but it has been hanging on.... I wonder if anyone else is having this too? on other fronts, I have been jogging / bike riding more woo hoo - feeling a bit healtier -- the kitchen is SLLLLLOOOOWly getting done... hopefully this week I may have a counter top... tile even! something interesting I found http://www.scentednectar.com/spiral/spiral.gif

Well Well Well....... I waited til the last minute and got tickets from a wonderful San Francisco Burner named Natasha, Got to the playa on wed....worked my ass off to get time off... literally got all my crap together in two days luckily my friends had the camp all set up by the time I got there ... While there I had the most amazing time of my life ( seriously ) - when religious experiences happen to you in such depth and amazing detail - it changes your view of the world forever - I will never see the world in the same way ever again. The explosion of the man really caught me off guard... great job to all the people who made the man happen after the first burn fiasco . Also thanks be to the God and Goddess for change and for love. hugs and all that Kev

I found this interesting thing online http://www.lovecalculator.com/ I don't know how it works... or if it works... but its fun to play with - like putting in the names of your pets... or naming your refrigerator and your dryer.. then putting their names in there . Perhaps putting in the names of planets... which planet is more likely to fall in love with the other planet... Thank the gods for ritual and healing in my life.... for without these things I think I would be quite lost - and also thanks be to the loving mother universe from which we are all created and will all return. I have been going thru some tough inner hurdles and today I finally came out the other side into a new place of my own inner knowing, looking back at my previous experiences really double underscored that inner knowing that "everything will be all right" of course it really helps to hike 12 miles in the forest, do some very long meditations, and talk to some wise people that you just met and have some of the most amazing wisdom to impart to you...thank you Rodney!! may your limo be so blessed! So let this be a day of thanks and inner love!! Thank you all those freinds who have so taught me so much over the years....!!

I would like to take a moment to wish all the mothers who work soo damn hard to raise their children and kick ass doing it... My mom worked 4 jobs to support 4 kids - 2 of which were not her own ( my half brother and half sister ) - and for all of the wonderful teachings... I have learned in watching mothers over the years and come to appriciate the impossible task they face every day for years ... and this also goes out to all the single mothers who do everything in their power to keep food on the table and clothing on the backs of their kids! Thank you MOMs!! What would we all do without your love! Kev

I sit in a coffee shop drawing the queen of cups, my mind peaceful in the knowledge that my project is coming to fruition - to someday to finish my own tarot deck. I watch the young kids around me talking about their problems: boys with girls- girls with boys - so much chatter.. so much chatter I am silent - amongst the ramblings it feels like a rushing current around my body. My mind is active with depictions of what this card symbolizes and relax into the calmness of my forms - simple and complex shapes that will soon be inverted to create the final card. "Aroma roasters is closing in 15 minutes" they shout and I wander home , picking up a yoga flyer and planning my first yoga class... inner health so important to me - what was I thinking as a youth - years ago i subsisted on taco bell and mountain dew (kevin shakes head here ) current staple diet : rice, kombucha tea, broccoli, carrots, cashews, Quinoa, salads -- I see such a change in my body and my health.. not only body but mind too - why do we destroy ourselves I ask myself.... I think back on the why of it - the answer is very simple for me - lack of inner caring for the self. What a wonderful teacher solitude can be - Namaste

I must say I love when I go out into the world and make great connections! My favorite sushi place " Sushi to Dia for" is just down the road - while on my quest to try every form of sushi they prepare ( I am about 1/4th thru the list currently on the shrimp tempura roll ), and I met an awesome lesbian couple that sells rooms on a cruise ship that travels around the world ( its thier company )....we talked about travel and the world and computer stuff... it is such a wonder filled universe we live in - you really never know what will happen next!!
