Thanks to Critical Mass partners Rod and Nikos. We have moved through all sorts of paths, trails, bottlenecks, and glorious expanses. The first pre-gathering permaculture intensive went as good as we could have hoped. We had 11 students and 9 staff to create a wonderful container for learning, sharing, and shifting. The course went over the basics for the first couple of days including the ethics and basic prinicples of permaculture and checking in with and walking the land. He said, "One important note that I take issue with, is how the "scientific method has created our current ecological crisis". I am a man of science (among other things), and I build satellites that relay global warming data to scientists that are supposed to aid in better political decisions. What ought to be taken as a problem is the political and business issues, not the scient... read more
