I have now been blissfully wed to my boyfriend/ 3 year fiancée for 4 days. This has been crazy, exciting, and just plain wonderful all at the same time! We'd been dating for about 6 years and have been good friends for nearly as long. He is a wonderful, honorable, loving companion and continues to bee all these things and more as my husband. Now, I'm working on finding a place for us to settle-down and a job for me. Being a head-of- household is tricky business, but I'm going to continue to do my best to take care of the people closest to me.

The year is almost over. I've made it this far but most certainly not on my own. I've had a lot of help and helped out a lot in turn. Even if memory hurts, I still try to be as strong as I can for my family and others close to me. I AM going to enjoy the holidays and I refuse to let my ever wandering brain ruin it! I remember all the wonderful Holiday seasons past and cherish every moment I have with the people in my life.
On a less greeting cardish note, I also landed a role in a production of "The Importance of Being Ernest" By Oscar Wilde. Yep, this is going to be an interesting new year. So Happy Holidays my friends, and may the Powers that Be bless for the coming year.

My mother passed away at about 2:30am today. She suffered a stroke, coma and brain hemorrhaging finally to die quietly in her deep, painless sleep. She survived many close calls in her life. Many of which she should not have but, her tenacious spirit saw her through my two older sisters time growing up and mine to the end. She would have turned 57 this August. We may have had our moments but who doesn't when you are the best of friends and close family? I Love her dearly and will miss her to no end. I was there at the hospital with her when she passed. I only wish she could have woken up long enough to say good-bye to her youngest child. I will always remember her and be as strong for my family and our friends as she was for us all.
