I'm a AARP card carrying belly dancer with 2 cats,2 ferrets, 1 husband and 1 son. I love chocolate, good wine and good food. I dabble in writing poetry and fantasy fiction. I love W. B. Yeats, Shakespeare, Jane Austin and J. K. Rowling. I make alot of my own dance costumes, prefer fusion to just about any other style of dance and really want to be an archeologist when I grow up. Just discovered the wondrous world of steampunk and am incorporating elements into my dance. As a side note, I hate "mean girls" of any age or gender who look down on other dancers for whatever reason.

Woke up this am with a bladder infection. Instant kharmic retribution for my foul, hostile behavior over the past week, I'm sure. No one could do anything right. Except me, of course. And now, here I sit with cranberry juice at hand when I'm not running down the hall to pee, that is. I have to perfect a dance routine for next weekend, pack for the following week at belly dance camp and clean my house. Ain't gonna happen!

Spent all of Sunday covering half of a new bra... must have done before August 18. Covered and decorated and "test driven". The thing is the size of a Buick! Scares me to look at it. Husband volunteered to watch the neighbors' peachfaced love birds.... read more

I don't think I'll ever be able to control my spending habit. Collected more bits and bobs for my costume collection. And, I still don't have a decent bedlah to call my own! Good grief, where do some of these vendors get the crap they sell??? Saw some really cool tribagoth dancers... specifically two girls on Sunday afternoon.
