Gee, I love being born a SAGITTARIUS =o)~

    </a>
										<div>Today's Birthday:
Happy birthday, Sagittarius! A high level of intelligence, as well as an abundance of common sense, makes you a person who can solve just about any problem. There's a certain mystique about you (and most Sags) that's very alluring. Others gravitate to you. Use this invisible power to secure unfinished business. Next year brings opportunities to weed the garden, allowing life to be fine-tuned.
//------------------------------------------------------------//
Sagittarius is ruled by the Planet Jupiter. In ancient Roman times, Jupiter was the King of the Gods, and most Sagittarians would say that the royal pedigree has been passed on to them. The Sag-born are generous and just, much like a noble leader. These folks are also expansive in their thoughts, as well as in their approach. Sags are forever reaching -- for knowledge, understanding and answers. They are outspoken in their beliefs, at times to the point of exaggeration. This may be due to their unflinching optimism. Sags are also a lucky bunch, thanks to Jupiter's golden glow. They're quick to take a gamble on things, feeling both lucky and smart. While the process of exploration is what fuels Sagittarians (and translating that to others as a teacher and philosopher), they need to be aware of their tendency to procrastinate. Those born under this Sign can be quite self-indulgent since things come so easily to them (thanks to their charming and sociable natures). Smart Archers, however, will catch themselves in time, the better to continue their good work. The Element associated with Sagittarius is Fire. Just as a fire can move quickly and uncontrollably, so can Sagittarians as they flit from one thing to the next, never looking back. For the Sag-born, it's all about action and adventure (and, hopefully, conclusions). These folks love their physicality and are often athletic, and certainly full of stamina. Life for these folks is played full-on, which is why it's chock-full of experiences. Archers are outgoing, enthusiastic and tend to overstep their bounds as a result, falling prey to the likes of foot-in-mouth disease. They can talk so fast (and so much) that they don't process the full weight of what they're saying, leading to the occasional hurt feeling. Often, however, their words serve to inspire others and to get things going. Yes, Sagittarians are straight-ahead folks who are curious, spiritual and true believers. The fact that they attract others with ease should be no surprise, since they have a great sense of fun and enjoy a good time. They don't lack for confidence, either, not a whit! High-spirited Sags love to socialize -- with an ever-changing crew. The athleticism of Sags lends itself to challenging sports, and they definitely know they're up to the task. That's why you're likely to find them in an around-the-world solo boat race or climbing up the highest peaks (where they should be mindful of their legs and hips). No stretch is too big for a Sag, if only because these folks know they're ready (and lucky to boot). Mental games such as chess or debate also fuel the Sag's mood. Moody colors they'll wear, since they favor rich maroon and navy hues. When it comes to love games, the Archer is playful, flirtatious and always on top. The great strength of the Sagittarius-born is their philosophical, wide-open and curious nature. These folks seek both knowledge and truth, and they are eager to share their explorations with others. Their optimistic and generous spirit makes them a pleasure to have around. </div>

    </a>
<div>This was sent to me by one of my coven mates - I thought it was cute =o)

THE EVENING OF SAMHAIN
Author Unknown

'Twas the evening of Samhain, and all through the place
Were Pagans preparing the ritual space.
The candles were set in the corners with care,
In hopes that the Watchtowers soon would be there.

We all had our robes on (as is habitual)
And had just settled down and were starting our ritual
When out on the porch there arose such a chorus
That we went to the door, and waiting there for us
Were children in costumes of various kinds
With visions of choc-o-late bright in their minds.

In all of our workings, we'd almost forgot,
But we had purchased candy (we'd purchased a LOT),
And so, as they flocked from all over the street,
They all got some chocolate or something else sweet.

We didn't think twice of delaying our rite,
Kids just don't have this much fun every night.
For hours they came, with the time-honored schtick
Of giving a choice: a treat... Or a trick!
As is proper, the parents were there for the games,
Watching the children and calling their names.

"On Vader, On Leia,
On Dexter and DeeDee,
On Xena, on Buffy,
Casper and Tweety!
To the block of apartments
On the neighboring road;
You'll get so much candy,
You'll have to be TOWED!"

The volume of children eventually dropped,
And as it grew darker, it finally stopped.
But as we prepared to return to our rite,
One child more stepped out of the night

She couldn't have been more than twelve or thirteen.
Her hair was deep red, and her robe, forest green
With a simple gold cord tying off at the waist.
She'd a staff in her hand and a smile on her face.

No make-up, nor mask, or accompanying kitsch,
So we asked who she was; she replied "I'm a witch.
And no, I don't fly through the sky on my broom;
I only use that thing for cleaning my room.
My magical powers aren't really that neat,
But I won't threaten tricks; I'll just ask for a treat."

We found it refreshing, so we gave incense cones,
A candle, a crystal, a few other stones,
And the rest of the candy (which might fill a van).
She turned to her father (a man dressed as Pan)
And laughed, "Yes, I know, Dad, it's past time for bed,"
And started to leave, but she first turned and said

"I'm sorry for further delaying your rite.
Blessed Samhain to all, and a magical night."

<div>Ok.... I hate it when it gets down to a game 7 because it's just too much fucking stress for me!! lol

Good game tho.
Endy Chavez made the most amazing play and I thought we were going to have some Mets magic in the 9th inning but nope. *sigh*

Mets still had a really great year and got farther than the Yankees in the post season which I am still happy about.

Would have loved to see them go to the World Series where I am most certain the Tigers are probably going to lay a serious smack down on the Cardinals.

(I figured the Tigers would bite the ass off of whomever made it as they are red hot lately and have had the benefit of a ton of rest)

    </a>
<div>Last night after a few really cheap happy hour libations at the Continental one of my friends and I headed over to the Stone on the corner of 2nd Street and Ave C to catch one of the only 3 performances worldwide of J.G Thirlwells Manorexia project. (two in NYC, one in Russia)

We just made it with moments to spare to the 8pm show.
The space was small, intimate and a little stuffy, but we were so close to the musicians I could read the music over their shoulders from where we were sitting.

The ensemble was made up of Thirlwell on laptop, a pianist, a cellist, 2 violinists, a viola player and David Cossin of the Bang on a Can All Stars doing percussion (which included a xylophone).

The first movement was an Ice on the Equator suite, followed by Armadillo Stance and finished by Tranque.

It was brief -lasting just under an hour, but it was well worth the 10 bucks admission.

I enjoyed it immensly.

Armadillo Stance is the only Manorexia track on the Foetus website (www.foetus.org) if you care to hear some, but both of the Manorexia CDs are available for purchase on the Foetus website.

I like listening to these albums in a darkened room or while soaking in a hot bubble bath and feeling the mood it creates envelope me...... </div>

    </a>
<div>Last night I saw some punk rock in one of the prettiest venues I have been to so far:
The Nokia theater in Times Square.
http://www.nokiatheatrenyc.com/gallery/gallery.php
(Thanks Disney!)
Ironically you can't get a damn cell phone signal in there to save your life.
The first band was Riverboat Gamblers.
They were surprisingly good - Straight outta TEXAS! The bass player was kinda hot =o)~
The singer looked like he watched too much Iggy Pop concert footage, but they were hard fast and fun. The song I liked the most was International something.... didn't get the title. But they were a good act.
I guess I didn't realize how huge X was but Rollins band played second. Henry is starting to look like a cute lil old man =o)
Fucking body ripped as all hell tho *jeeezus!*
It was one of those ideal sets for me as they played mostly stuff from WEIGHT which is easily my favorite Rollins Band album followed by Get Some Go Again and they played some off of that album as well. It was great. Couldn't have picked a better playlist.
X I had never seen live before and I am not that familiar with their stuff - I was there for Rollins band really, but I was thoroughly impressed. They were just non stop energy and old skool punk. I really liked the bass player - John Doe - he had a shiny personality and Exene was cute as a button.</div>

    </a>
										<div>I love this poem =o)
-------------------------------------------------------------
Be my buffalo head nickel, my foreboding mountain, the leg I don’t have to stand on.

What if there were big things at stake?
Be my ruckus. Be my shoot-out.

Be my corduroy, my perfect non-sequitor.
Be my cedilla.

Be my circuit breaker, my prosecuting attorney, my lengthening shadows at dusk, my nest of pine needles, my second-story window, my autodialler.

Be my hilarious fugue, baroque rococo.

Be my Boolean logic, my array of pointers, my system architecture, my database management software.

Be my cascading waterfall, my oscilloscope.

My engaging imagination, my radical metonymy.
Be my stone fence.

Be my axiom.
Be my if-you-stare-long-enough-you’ll-see.
Be my subatomic particle. Be my ten lords a’ leapin’.
Be my backbeat, my key of C minor, my surly apostle, my green sea birdgirl.

Be my long strides, my inscrutable syntax, my mystic chancellery.

Be these things. Be them. Be my maximum payload, my elemental munitions, my full
complement of arms.

I’m asking for guidance here.
Once I was water coiled under sand. Now I make my plea. This is errata. This is what I forgot to say before. Listen. Aren’t I your blossom, your acceptable loss?
The comet is ellipse. The mitosis is continental divide. It communicates within its own enzymic parameters.
I’m asking you. All this will be ours. Every desperate clutch, every extenuating syllable. Emerge, come forth.

Be my long gaunt carnivore, my nullifying vision.
Be my simmering, seething, flickering, radiating, shimmering, and undulating.
Be my hereby known as, my previously referred to, my otherwise, my elsewhere.

Be my scandalous reparté.
Be my semiotic wilderness, my midnight blue metallic, my queen’s gambit.
Be my unheralded latecomer.

Be that one move: the one where you cross over, go behind your back, put it through your legs, spin around, in midair, no look, no hands, with a wink, outstretched, half twist, and somehow escape with your eggshell intact.

Be my come on. Be my let’s go. Be my it’s a great day to be in Montezuma.
But I’m new now. I can never go back.

<div>this song is currently playing in my head and on my Myspace page... www.myspace.com/killagrrrl
it's got that smutty sound I like........
------------------------------------------------------------------
Get your PVC’s around your knees
I’m the pig I’m the preacher, get dirty I’ll teach you
Throw your pearls before this schwein, loose lips melted mine
Vicious vivid Venus find, sumptuous joy so sublime
I’ve toured, whored, been ignored, gorged, sucked and fucked some more
I cut a little deeper, never felt cheaper, hold me slowly almost felt holy
Way down baby get out of my hole, screaming for a guy to take control
I’m dressing, caressing, leavin’, believin’, forget it, regret it please

I need a little fore play
I need a little more pay
I need a little flashback
I need a little cash back
I got the beauty, she’s my beast
Looks like a leper but she’s my priest
Look closer we go
I’m getting tired my death’s to slow

My deed is where the dirt is, my home is where the hurt is
Baptised in a sewer of schwein, capsized in the chaos of crime
Your appealing I’m appalling, keep weepin’ keep crawlin’
This wedlock is my deadlock, ripped so wide there’s nothing inside
And I sought out years ago, living lower than the belly of a rattle snake
I dress each day with the definesy, gotta a shit filled grin to kiss your face
Lick your body from toe to head where it always leads to your soken’ bed
Kiss my lovers severed head, thank you lord for my daily bread

I need a little fore play
I need a little more pay
I need a little flashback
I need a little cash back
I got the beauty, she’s my beast
Looks like a leper but she’s my priest
Look closer we go
I’m getting tired my death’s to slow

No balls, no brains, just a bunch of broken veins
I’ll fuck all you hogs, suck all you harlots, I’m the last the piggy star
Lets it rid it for a reason nothin’ to the wise
Sweatin’ for a high that you rest can’t buy, you rest can’t buy

I need a little fore play
I need a little more pay
I need a little flashback
I need a little cash back
I got the beauty, she’s my beast
Looks like a leper but she’s my priest
Look closer we go
I’m getting tired my death’s to slow

I dig my toes into the numbness of your life
I leave my foes behind the dumbness of your knife
Told you before every hole’s a goal
Now you ignore, your outta control
You messed up, now you better fess up

I need a little fore play
I need a little more pay
I need a little flashback
I need a little cash back
I got the beauty, she’s my beast
Looks like a leper but she’s my priest
Look closer we go

										<div>you're gonna get fucked.

Despite the fact that the venue changed for the show at totally the last possible minute (like hours before the show) and everything was runny really late (like getting to the Albion Batcave at 10:30pm to find a line because the person with the keys had not shown up yet and the band having to load their stuff in set up and do a sound check after the guy with the keys came) it was a really good night.

The opening bands - Digital Mindy and Mindless Faith were really great.
PIG did an amazing and long set. songs included: Suck Spit Shit, Situation (my favorite from Pigmata), On the Slaughterfront, Virtue Vice &amp; Vitriol and Find it Fuck it Forget it as the encore before blowing out of there at like 3:56 am.

I kind of had expected things to be over hours earlier so I could get my swerve on at other parties elsewhere, but it was what it was so I just chilled at the batcave and got my industrial groove on until they closed.

<div>Get your PVC’s around your knees
I’m the pig I’m the preacher, get dirty I’ll teach you
Throw your pearls before this schwein, loose lips melted mine
Vicious vivid Venus find, sumptuous joy so sublime
I’ve toured, whored, been ignored, gorged, sucked and fucked some more
I cut a little deeper, never felt cheaper, hold me slowly almost felt holy
Way down baby get out of my hole, screaming for a guy to take control
I’m dressing, caressing, leavin’, believin’, forget it, regret it please

3. I am a native NYer and have lived here all my life so far.

4. I never played with dolls when I was little and firmly believe that is why I am clueless when it comes to hair and make - up.

6. I am obsessive compulsive about checking my account balances.
