to summarize

Location
about me
I am an engineer. Not just in my career, but in the way I approach everything I do. I like to create and improve; it's difficult for me to let a flawed item sit unattended. I'm constantly working on myself, trying to engineer a better me. I've discovered this amazing trick called 'listening' that allows me to learn the wisdom of many lifetimes without having lived them - all your memes are belong to us! I don't watch or own a TV - their flickering aggressiveness annoys me. Spending time outdoors bring me great joy, whether I be swimming, backpacking, launching rockets, or dancing.

Here's a satellite image of Omolek on which you can see our launch pad, trailer, and hanger: tinyurl.com/6qymnj

Kwaj is a US Army base, a small town of 2000. You need permission from the Kwaj police depar... read more

Part of Burning Man, for me anyways, is learning new behaviors and thought patterns that we can help spread throughout the world. So if we learn to unconditionally love our friends on the playa, perhaps we can learn to unconditionally love our family, coworkers, and strangers in the default world. I try to be my playa self everywhere, but I'm not always successful.

Today, I was walking towards my office and one of my coworkers was walking the other way. He stopped and held out both his arm... read more
