</a>
										<div>so it seems that I'm not the only one who has dithered about what to dance to.

What to wear will follow behind what to dance to.

The nice thing is that I haven't had to order a new costume, I've got at least 3 that are pining away to be worn. ;-P

I've pretty much decided to do an Egyptian piece, followed by who knows what.

I've had Lissa Fakir running through my head essentially non stop for over 2 weeks now, so that might be what I dance to. After all, i've practiced it in my head exhaustively. ;-)

Dharet al Ayam is intriguing too, although i'm really loving the Samer Issa version from the Ya Bahaia cd. Although come to think of it, i don't think I've seen anyone in Boston dance to Ya Bahaia, other than me...

BUT, if my black silk fans get here in time, it'll be a whole different story!</div>

<div>GET IN SHAPE FOR 2008!!!

Learn belly dance from a teacher who specializes in a holistic approach to dance, sure to engage all your core muscles while providing the impetus to push yourself to next level.

World Rhythms Dance Studio 221 Chandler St, Worcester

January 19 &amp; 26. February 2, 9 &amp; 16
Level I Basic Isolations and Drills Saturday’s 1PM – 2PM
In this class you will learn the foundations of Middle Eastern Dance (belly dance), including proper posture, breath, and the basics to create your own dance style. In order to further that aim, we'll be working on a choreography to Shuruk on the Ya Bahaia CD. It's a beledi progression (1). Student input into the choreography process is welcome and encouraged. I will make copies of the song; students will be expected to purchase the copy from me at $1 to cover the cost of material. You may, of course purchase the cd (I highly recommend it!) from www.bahaia.com however; the class version is edited for length. This class is for students who are beginners (no experience) through intermediate level (2-3 years of belly dance experience).
Although we have been working on this choreography for a while, each session breaks downs the skill set needed for a combination of the choreography. Thus, the new student may enter the class, learn a section of choreography and the outlines of the full choreography.

Join the collaboration of two forces of nature! Jemileh and AMA! Ama is an extraordinary Pilates instructor, and coincidentally the owner of Rock City Body. Knowing how wonderful for the body Middle Eastern dance is, Ama decided to offer this wonderful amenity to her students looking for another way to strengthen and tone their bods. Jemileh saw that her students would benefit from the additional strength and flexibility training that Pilates and Yoga provide, thus their holy alliance was born!

Students at this locale must purchase a monthly membership at $50 which included unlimited access to all mat Pilates classes, Yoga and Balletone classes! What a steal! All this and belly dance too!
