I'm a riddle wrapped in an enigma, deep-fried in a conundrum, and served with a side-order of sarcasm. I'm a conspiracy realist and I'm suspicious but way too quick too trust sometimes. I'm a word nerd and math is my kryptonite. I'm sincere, but rarely serious, guarded but guilty of wearing my heart on my sleeve and prone to mixing metaphors on purpose (in case you haven't noticed.) I don't suffer fools gladly but I have been known to act a fool from time to time. I'm a reformed partier who still has fun but has learned to balance. I've tried pragmatism, realism, liberalism, idealism and countless other 'isms' and decided they all have their flaws, so it's best to blend your 'isms.' And for the sake of full-disclosure, I'm a very outspoken, passionate and unabashed liberal (though I prefer the term progressive) so if you're into Bush, bigotry, stupid yellow ribbons that do nothing to support our troops (especially pasted to the back of a fucking, gas-guzzling urban assault vehicle), and curtailing our civil rights we will probably argue a LOT...but I try to keep it civil.
