My Testimonials

August 10, 2005
32: and Kip did speak unto the forum, saying, "I kid you not, Traci."

33: Kip spake further, thus: "Where are *our* Humes and spinozas, and our Jeffersons and Franklins, and our Hobbs and Locke?" cried she.

34: With woe she beat her fists against keyboard, crying, "Why do we have no one who is out there listening to all the world's ideas, and letting them help in creating new and better systems?"

35: and the forum did pause, and reflect.

I've only seen Horus the cat a couple of times but he seems quite gato-esque.

Kip is a fun dinner companion and extremely knowledgeable on a number of subjects. Like me, she doesn't suffer fools lightly and that's not a bad thing as I see it. I like thought-provoking people and Kip certainly is that.

She also deserves a job where her manifest talents can be put to good use.

Dad & step-mom's cat died (blog entry) It's such a hard thing to hear, when they say "I had to put my cat down". the pain is so close still, for putting Dulci down. The irony, or rather i guess, the strange thing is how similar the two cat's illnesses were. I didn't have the Ultra s... read more

Silence (blog entry) I miss silence.

I watched some japanese flick this weekend, which, like many japanese flicks, uses silence as american flicks use bombs, booms, screams, screatches, etc.

There is a film about silence that i want to find, which basically asks... read more

Whitman

Earth, round, rolling, compact---suns, moons, animals---all these are words to be said;
Watery, vegetable, sauroid advances---beings, premonitions, lispings of the future,
Behold! these are vast words to be said.

Were you thinking that those were the words---those upright lines? those curves, angles, dots?
No, those are not the words---the substantial words are in the ground and sea,
They are in the air---they are in you.

Were you thinking that those were the words---those delicious sounds out of your friends' mouths?
No, the real words are more delicious than they.

Human bodies are words, myriads of words;
In the best poems re-appears the body, man's or woman's, well-shaped, natural, gay,
Every part able, active, receptive, without shame or the need of shame.

Les mots, les mots sont immobiles

It's such a hard thing to hear, when they say "I had to put my cat down". the pain is so close still, for putting Dulci down. The irony, or rather i guess, the strange thing is how similar the two cat's illnesses were. I didn't have the Ultra sound done, that they did on Coco, but they found that he had pancrass cancer, and it had hit his liver, and his kidneys, etc. Probably we would have found similar things in ms. Dulci.

I elected not to bother with the ultra sound, not only for fin... read more

See, this would solve all teh problems. Since its mostly men who whine and moan about women's choices to have abortions (and oh by the way, men who don't want to pay for the brats they make), this is the perfect solution.

Our cats are neutered at 6 weeks old. We allow one male per 100 or so to stay intact. one male for every 10 or 15 women. but enough ... read more

There is a film about silence that i want to find, which basically asks, when you turn off the car engins, and teh screams, and the gunshots, and the explosions - what can a camera hear. The artist goes into "quiet" places, and just listens.

I have a delicious set of films made for "HD" called "sunrise earth". it's... read more

"I hate atheists cause they don't know god"

then to convince themselves of thier stance, these people choose only that which reinforces thier position and says "see, there it is". FUCK grow up !!!!
