So D & I went to Seattle this past weekend to see His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama. What an amazing thing....to just be in his presence. The music afterwards was an added bonus. I have been working on a project for a client that has been just kicking my ass!!! Since Wednesday I've put in 22 hours of work on this thing. I've been on a time crunch and every possible thing has thwarted me. I mean every step I've taken everything has gone to shit....and not of my own doing. I've made some changes in my life recently...trying to live better, more healthy. I've changed what I eat and what I drink. I've mostly cut out sodas and switched to lots of fresh veggies, low fat dairy and whole grain foods. Not that I ate terrible before but my eating habits certainly needed an overhaul. And I keep diet 7-Up around in case I really want a soda. So far I've lost 11 pounds in the last 2 1/2 weeks. I'm also working on my mental health. Dearric and I have been thru a lot... read more
