They grow up so fast (blog entry) Johnny is almost crawling. He does this shifting back and forth from sitting to crawling position thing and moves in sort of a backwards spiral that way. He gets frustrated when he gets stuck and can't put his butt down because it's against a wa... read more

Yay! Johnny is back to himself again! (blog entry) Not the way I would have chosen to spend Valentine's day, especially since I all but forgot it was even that day as we put Johnny in the hospital. The Dr. had a gut feeling and wanted him to go in for 24 hrs of observation. 4 days later we came ... read more

What a week! (blog entry) Johnny came down with the Flu last monday - head, not tummy thank goodness. Lochlan avoided it, but Caladin and I both got it, too.

Saturday Lochlan won the Pack pine wood derby and Johnny cut his first tooth! Johnny even slept through the ni... read more

I can't believe Wylie is gone. (blog entry) Our friend Wylie Reeves passed away December 22nd. We went to the Memorial down in Seguin this last friday. You are The Wheel of Fortune

Good fortune and happiness but sometimes a species of intoxication with success

The Wheel of Fortune is all about big things, luck, change, fortune. Almost always good fortune. You are lucky in all things that you do and happy with the things that come to you. Be careful that success does not go to your head however. Sometimes luck can change.

Not the way I would have chosen to spend Valentine's day, especially since I all but forgot it was even that day as we put Johnny in the hospital. His lungs got so gunky I was glad we were there.

He's all better, except for clearing out congestion yet. We have a couple more weeks of steroid ... read more

Our friend Wylie Reeves passed away December 22nd. We went to the Memorial down in Seguin this last friday. It was comforting somehow to see how packed the church was. Connor got up and said some nice things, Caladin recapped some of it for me after, since I was in the nursery with Johnny. We heard the bagpipes play amazing grace at the end. We miss him.
