On October 12, 2004, I emptied my house into a truck and left Minneapolis. I arrived at my new home in San Francisco three days later. Yep, 5 years ago today.

I didn't move for school or a job or anything as solid or tangible. Things in Minneapolis weren't exciting me anymore and I felt like I didn't want to live in the same metropolis all my life.
