I am Sam, Sam I am

This is the belated into to Tribe of our adorable Australian Shepherd, Samuel Wonderpet.

And yes, he does know that he's cute.

And it's his dog bed that Spike is scamming in the earlier post. He's eating his food, nibbling on dog cookies. He's convinced my 11 year old Maine Coon cat that he's a dog, and an alpha dog at that!

Gandhi's Prayer for Peace

I think this is a good time to post this...

I offer you peace.
I offer you love.
I offer you friendship.
I see your beauty.
I hear your need.
I feel your feelings.
My wisdom flows from the highest source.
I salute that source in you.
Let us work together.
For unity and peace.

Mahatma Gandhi

Yes, I Have Gone Over to the Dark Side! Yuck -- Facebook

Damn, my personal laptop is on the fritz because of a splash of strawberry milk from a dearly love little bunny rabbit of mine. Wah so no pictures!

I'm on Facebook. My PG version.

I think the best way is to search me with my email account surrealistgirl@gmail.com.

Please just let me know you're from Tribe and your handle. I'm not as much as a friendslut as I was here.

I hope Tribe keeps going. FB keeps me in touch with old friends, biz contacts, but this is where my heart is...

I wanted to let you all know so you know where to find me.

Much love,
Robin

edited because it's nice when I can spell my name correctly lol.

Mother of the World

Spending time with Will's daughter's lately has really made me think of this. I haven't really understood this until recently...

Overcome any bitterness that may have come because you were not up to the magnitude of pain that was entrusted to you. Like the mother of the world who carries the pain of the world in her heart, each one of us is part of her heart, and therefore endowed with a certain measure of cosmic pain. You are sharing in the totality of that pain. You are called upon to meet it in joy instead of self-pity.

Comic legend Dom DeLuise dies at 75

www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ...se/index.html

That is sad. But thinking of him makes me smile; he was goofy, but very sweet. He was very poignant in Fatso.

Hmmm, I think I've had a golden shower; it wasn't quite what I expected...

So I put down my snuggle bunny Arwinn to sleep. It was a hectic day -- Will was stuck on the highway for 7 hours due to a chemical spill. Friend John shows up after a videography gig. Antonio's Pizza for all!

I crash after Arwinn did, but forgot to do the crucial check. Mommy is finally getting serious about potty training, so I don't check the wrapper.

I wake up in the morning feeling wetness in my hair, shoulder, forearm, and back. I'm kind of out of it so it takes me a minute to realize what had so drenched. Yep; accident in the middle of the night in big girl underwear. I'm surprising low-key and flip off my shirt. I do tweak and clean twice over with wipes and antibacterial soap -- but we use our mantra -- no problems. It's not a big deal. We calm her quickly and life goes on.

It didn't hit me today that I passed the golden shower mark in a strange way; but it could have been worse.. She twists around mid-sleep and sometimes has her bottom near my head. It was a near miss :)

Think I'll take a pass on the whole golden shower...

Monsters vs. Arwinns

Another day at the movies with Will and the girls Ivy, 6 and Arwinn 2. We had been sucked into the premise for the long time -- you've got monsters and aliens. Throw in some robots-- ultimate bliss.

On the day we're going to see to movie Arwinn decides to make a title switch from Monsters vs. Aliens. Gotta love punny 3 year olds :)
