Well I wasn't scared, and if it was real life I think I would have been at least a little freaked out! We were on a little island school, it was just like my old secondary school but on a tropical island with buddhist monks and buddhist statues! I think there was a big wave coming or something and two of the statues came alive and ran to the broken... Read more bridge and lay down to make themselves into the bridge. Then other statues came to life and just started running around. it was weird. and the other monks didn't seem scared or even surprised. I think I was sat in a car so it wasn't set in the past. I have had several spider synchronicities recently. What follows is what I have found in some brief spider research. Spiders In Ancient Egypt, the spider was associated with the goddess Neith in her aspect as spinner and weaver of destiny, this link continuing later through the Babylonian Ishtar and Greek Athena.[4] Arachne's depiction as a half-spider half-human in Dante's Inferno. The most notable ancient legend that explains the origin of the spider is the story of the weaving competition between the Greek goddess Athena and the sometimes princess Arachne. This fable was added much later to the Greek mythos when Ovid wrote the poem Metamorphoses between AD 2-8.[5] Arachne was the daughter of a famous Tyrian purple dyer in Hypaipa of Lydia. Due to her father's skill with cloth dying, Arachne was adept in the art of weaving. Eventually, she began to consider herself a greater weaver than the goddess Athena herself and challenged the goddess to a weaving contest to prove her skill. Athena wove the scene of her victory over Poseidon that had inspired her patronage of Athens, while Arachne wove a tapestry featuring twenty-one episodes of infidelity amongst the Gods of Olympus, which angered Athena. The goddess conceded that Arachne's weaving was flawless but she was infuriated by the mortal's pride. In a final moment of anger, Athena destroyed Arachne's tapestry and loom with her shuttle and cursed Arachne to live with extreme guilt. Out of sadness, Arachne hung herself soon after. Taking pity on her, Athena brought her back to life as a spider(using juice of aconite) after the princess killed herself. Athena made sure that the spider retained Arachne's weaving abilities. The Greek Arachne means "spider" (αράχνη).... ...In African folklore, the spider is personified as Anansi, the trickster god and character from later in African mythology. Alternate names include Kwaku Ananse in West Africa and anglicized as Aunt Nancy (or Sister Nancy), a variant specifically found in some of the islands of the West Indies, South America and the United States.[10] And in other cultures, such as the Native American Lakota people's culture, the spider is present as the deity Iktomi, which is occasionally depicted in its form.[4] In Native American mythology, the spider is again seen in the legend about the birth of the constellation Ursa Major. I know what I am. My frustration comes from an irrational fear that I may be unable to express it fully before we all realise that we're one. I desperately want to express what makes me special before we all realise that there's nothing special about any of us. I want to express what makes me a unique individual before it becomes blatantly obvious that we are all one being. Do I know what I want? I know my path and I know the archetypes I have been fulfilling, sometimes unwittingly. I want to be a hero but I'm a coward. I want to express MY illusion before the veil is lifted. I want to share true love with an individual who loves me while there's still the illusion of time to experience 'separateness.' I feel immense vibrations coming from the future. Really and truly, what's the truth to me? A fractal pattern of infinite possibilities? It's all perception, points of view, therefore soliloquies Of misery or chaos are probably no use to me. Everything's useless and useful to be truthful I guess it depends on your relationship to it and on what you do. OMIs feel emotions without attachment to them. Sending love to both hippies and hoodlums. Lack of confidence seems to limit ones ability. Each perception has equal validity. Perhaps we need a birds eye view of mental health, Perhaps that's what some call your higher self. Unexpected tests of our ability to rest Through turbulent emotions, but everything is blessed. Maybe it feels like times speeding up but it's all in synch, Living in the heart is to feel, not to think. I try to remember what the ancients told me Time transcended through sacred ceremony. Just another perception, allegedly it's all a reflection, Is that karma or drama? Do you learn your lesson From soap operas or ancient texts? Patience, It's not for us to judge, or feel vexation. Big changes, all good, feels like a better perception We remember that we're love then love our reflection.

Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky (no sarcy comments about our sun being brighter, it's not there at night.) During the 'dog-days' of early July to mid-august Sirius rises behind the sun in alignment. Sirius was sacred to the Egyptians due to the fact that when it reappears from behind the sun the Nile would flood. This is also the time when the Mayan's day out of time signifies a new year. Sirius was also sacred to the Dogon tribe of West Africa who knew detailed information about Sirius, information which modern science could only confirm recently. Specifically the length of it's orbit, or should I say orbits because the Dogon tribe knew that Sirius is actually a combination of 3 stars, one tiny one spinning around a larger o0ne and an invisible third star that can only be detected by observing it's gravitational pull on surrounding objects. Rorschach: [reading from journal] Rorschach's Journal. November 12th, 1985: Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll whisper "no." Rorschach is a homicidal maniac in the Watchmen movie and comic book, a homicidal maniac with a moral code. However reality is perception and a moral code is subjective so who deserves the torture and brutality he creates? Who deserves the pain he administers? And when he stands in the way of world peace because he wishes to tell the truth... does he deserve to die. Men take oathes to uphold truth, honour and justice. But do they ever know when Truth would have to be sacrificed for Honour? Or when Justice will have to be sacrificed for Truth? I feared for my life in Tasmanian rainforests from violent redneck loggers. I feared for my sanity from the pressure of being surrounded by die-hard activists that were alot braver than me. I feared for my life in the streets of Bristol once or twice while I put creativity and the love of creativity above everything else. Above full-time work, above renting, above security I put freedom. But maybe I was just lazy. I never felt like a hero, I may have died poor but I would have died on my feet. For a long time I didn't think that I was mentally capable of working full-time. Luckily I have 8 hour shifts that start at midday which deals with my early mornings issue. And the long shifts have made me tired enough to deal with my insomnia issue. And I'm raising money for charity, which although there are still moral issues concerning the money that charities make, at least I'm not selling arms. I've sold windows in the past. And kitchens. I'm not always on stage chanting positive affirmations. I was a teenager once as well. Now that I am working full-time and paying rent I rarely have time to be creative, when I do I rarely have the energy. Have I given up? I want to be a superhero! The mic is my special tool, soundwaves are my secret weapon. Blogs are my media campaign. Have I given up? Perhaps it is the quitters I should relate to, not the obsessive lunatic. The rest of The Watchmen quit, but not Rorscach. He continued to fight crime. Rorschach: [Turns] "Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon." No. I still write, even at work. Raising money for charity is part of my light-worker path from one perspective but that's just another story, just another point of view. I still try to remember that, as the band Avalon Roots say, "each moment is a chance to live from my heart. Each moment is a chance to show love." So that is why I relate to Rorschach, despite the fact that he's a violent homicidal maniac. And I'm a pussy. I was once an idealist, I was once incapable of compromise. Because so much of the rest of the planet had compromised it's morals I felt like I had to have no part in so-called society because that would be condoning it. Since then I have been forced to accept that alot of braver people have drawn their line WAY further away than I did. Big up. But from their perspective I was the compromiser, I was the system, I was society. I didn't choose to go to Tasmania so much as end up going. I didn't choose to lose my passport and get my bank cancelled to the point that this time last year I barely existed. I didn't choose my path I just walked it. Now I exist again. lol Now if I speak to some people working full-time and renting is an achievement. And if I talk to others it is a sell-out. And the only opinion that matters is my own, because I create my own reality? I have a peaceful place to retreat to at the end of the day, something I have not had for 3 years of couch surfing and squatting. But when does my home become a prison? When does my pay become a necessity rather than a source of freedom? It's all perception, everything is always changing which is a status that hasn't changed at all...
