Tribe is not working at all...

15yrs of Full Moon desert goodness.

This week is the anniversary of 15 years of Moontribe, the free desert gatherings that have been a refuge, an inspiration and so much more, to so many people. I'm honored to be a featured guest artist at this years anniversary, my first time ever performing at a Moontribe gathering. I really love and appreciate the moontribe family, and the gatherings were a crucial nexus for me when I was living in Los Angeles. They continue to be an inspiration, and the energy and intention behind the gatherings is somthing we can all learn from, and emulate as promoters and party people. So, i'm workin hard on my set, got a new shade structure ;) and will see ya'll cornheads out in the desert.

Please go to www.IsisOasis.org for event directions. Isis Oasis is located about 1.5 hours North of San Francisco and 20 minutes from Santa Rosa, directly off the 101 in wine country CA. It is home to a wildlife sanctuary of exotic birds such as the White Peacock and endangered cats such as the Ocelot. Also on site: acres of ceremonial land, a mythic playground, hot tubs and pools, and an Isis Temple.

WHAT TO BRING:

* Camping gear: tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag/bedding, towel, flashlight (there will be some collective snuggling space available as well)
* Garland makings: wildflowers/garden clippings brought in water…(Ex. lupen, red clover, ivy, sword fern, green prunings…anything you find on the side of the road, a hike in the great outdoors, your garden…)
* Snacks for between meals: there will also be Gold and Noni on tap provided by Chad of www.NobleLifeElements.com as well as raw treats provided by Stacia and Kelli. No community kitchen space is available.
* Festive attire: If you were a fairy, or May Day royalty, or a delightful spring flower being pollinated by a bee, what would you wear? Wear it!

FOOD:

* Harmony from Sol Sprouts catering will be providing nurturing, wholesome, mostly vegan food for the Beltane Faery Feast and Sunday Brunch.
* Please bring whatever dietary substitutes you may need, as well as necessary snacks to sustain your full force between meals.

GUIDELINE BOUNDARIES:

* No Fires
* No Drugs
* No fingers in animal cages
* No unattended children

Once on site, Saturday April 26th, all Celebrants must go through the check-in Portal. The hours of registration begin promptly at 10am on the 26th and end at 9pm that evening.

85% of the proceeds of this Gathering will go towards funding the creation of a Tribal Throne that is to be birthed into being by Adam Bradley of www.Maderasculptures.com and initiated into our tribal use at Pantheogenesis Temple at Burningman 2008.

* Natural Habitats for the animals at Isis Oasis.

The Beloved animals at Isis Oasis are ready for new, upgraded habitats. 15% of the profits received from this event will go towards a world class animal facility with educational programs implemented to demonstrate our inherent connectivity within the web of all life.

Cyphertown Crew Performing at Action and March on Chevron Oil Refinery!

March 15: Chevron Direct Action and Rally
Direct Action to Stop the War

The purpose of this action is shut the Chevron refinery down for the day, and to support community efforts to stop Chevron from expanding its refinery, which will increase pollution and cause asthma, cancer and rising death rates in surrounding communities. Chevron is driving the war and occupation in Iraq, refining over a million barrels of stolen Iraqi oil in Richmond a month, and actively lobbying for the privatization of Iraq¹s oil fields so companies like Chevron can seize control of them. Join us, and help send a clear message to Chevron: Stop stealing Iraqi oil, and stop polluting our communities! See our Chevron fact sheet.

COMMUNITY RALLY:
There will be rally from 11am to 1pm. Spoken word, music, performance, etc and some speakers to break down the issues and possibilities.

MARCH/PROCESSION:
The Rally will turn into a March or Procession on Chevron's Refinery and 1/2 mile away. Join the TXT MOB to keep up with the march!

ACTION AND FESTIVAL:
At Chevron many people will engage in nonviolent direct action or civil disobedience with the goal of a day without oil. This will include blocking entrances, possible boat visibility action where the oil tankers come and go by the Richmond Bridge and there will be a bike parade/Bikes not Bombs ride intertwining with the other events. We want to have music and keep the energy up and positive through the afternoon.

***Cyphertown Krewe is gonna be there holding down a 100% solar sound system! We've got an amazing core group of artists coming out, Goodfellow, Ash (Seasunz, MC with Wisdom and Bassnectar), DJ Zeph and Azeem, and KnowSleep (Knowa and Sleepyhead) with Souleye, and DJ Jeramiah of Sila and the Afro Funk Experience, Taylor Maiden Space and many other artists and speakers!

We've touched down on the Island for the week, played for E-ma's birthday last night with the Goddess Alchemy Project and ELF and are hard at work (while not on the beach) getting ready for the Source Festival this weekend. SOURCE is an interactive art, music, healing and educational celebration of loving community, which will take place on the spectacular northeast coast of Maui. Our gracious host, the YMCA Camp at Keanae, is set amongst 10 acres of some of the most incredible scenery in Hawai'i. Overlooking the famous Keanae Peninsula, our playground for the event includes lush green fields for camping and a stunning view.

Your ticket basically includes everything but your bedding. There are a limited amount of bunk beds available (first come, first served) but ample room to set up camp. The kitchen will be cooking up fresh, local, organic fare and will provide tea, coffee, snacks and fresh water throughout the day and into the night. SOURCE is an experimental community made up of various people including artists of all types. It requires interactive participation, which is created by the artists who attend it- WE are the event!
