i love you all very much. i am filled with a deep, deep sensation that i can only call sorrow for lack of a better term. we lost a really, really good one. i am so glad to have you all in my heart. i have watched many of you grow...as you have grown with me, too. i think of you all more than you probably know. my heart flies north to be with you.

here in New Orleans
I have arrived.
I am a fortunate soul.
I realize I have never had so much history in one place, or ever been so attached to a place that I could ever feel the type of loss that the good people of New Orleans must feel in these long moments after the storm.
On that same note...I know I can never have that sort of history either.
It is bittersweet.
It is a crying shame.
It is down right beautiful here in this city; in these washed-out neighborhoods.

my cup is overflowing
hello, munchkinland! i am back and things are stranging and changing as usual. i will be headed to New Orleans in two weeks.
