have you ever watched your galactic soul colliding with another? ...across the vast expanse of time and space only to catch a glimpse through the beautiful dancing chaos of the one you truly feel is the one. like a cosmic mirror. like time ceases to have ever existed and it's been and always will be this way. all things are connected. i've seen it in her eyes... i've found myself lost and in love... and i'm sitting here, waiting... waiting for something that already happened, in the future that we dream.

she smells like turquoise, and feels like lilac wafting over a mountain garden. she has a texture like white noise, and sounds like cedar bark. she looks like the taste of warm chocolate. inside, her blood runs red streaming to her millions of cells at the speed of sound until all that is perceived of the outside world is washed away, stripped to the single unwavering band of light that is the essence of the human soul. she'll light your way home.

One time Kristel and I were out on the fjords after doing some seal wrangling, when from out of nowhere this 28m tall robotic bear comes bounding towards us shooting fire out it's eye-sockets. Kristel quickly grabbed her thermos of chilled pickled fish and in one amazing gesture tossed it right into the robobear's nose socket. Well, sooner than you could say, "my leg is bent" the pickled fish juice began to boil shooting a fishy steam into the flame shooting eyes, squelching the flames and also blinding the monster. Upon interrogation, we learned that the robotic bear was only lost on his way to the Estonia Mutual Insurance conference when his eye-sockets redlined and burst into flames. Kristel quickly quipped, "Well at least you're insured!"
We all had a great laugh and became the best of friends.

One of the most vibrant personalities I have ever met, she has an excellent eye for photography and is a wonderful all-around artist. Whether real or just imagined, she seems to exist in a surreal landscape wherein she views things the rest of us are too pedestrian to contemplate. Always seems like she's on the verge of laughter. The phrase "lives life to the fullest" is rarely, if ever, applied as appropriately as it is with her.

dynamically intelligent and aesthetic, synaesthesia makes for good company and production of discourse for those independently minded free spirits worthy of her. her artistic and musical tastes are impeccable, she is well and diversely read, and did I add that she's really fun to party with? She is of great social and discursive value to those who are worthy of her, presenting them with an unending barrage of entertainment, wit, and energy. and really cool looking photographs. surreal and lively.

Just tonight this lovely woman and I were being glam and partying like rockstars in san francisco, and i can testify that she is -superb- company of which i am far too often denied. why are you so cool that you live in san francisco, far far away? It could be that such a ridiculously intelligent, artistic, and dynamic spirit just couldn't resist the allure of SF? Quite likely. In the future you and I will be telling people that we knew synaesthesia before she became a superstar of the music video industry, and we will be met with skepticism cos such dignitaries couldn't have possibly hung out with us!
