Reading, learning, cooking, and playing with the dog, scratches the surface of the things I like to do. For me spending time alone is just as likely as wanting to go out with friends. I am an extrovert, but I have a number of projects that I do that either require the right people, or the right space for me to do. If the right people do not exist, I can happily do them alone. Being a Vegetarian is pretty center to who I am, but most people forget this since it is something that is rarely brought up. I typically hate "vegetarian food", and prefer to eat Italian, Mexican, or Sushi.

Picking up new languages is a hobby and every chance to do so is welcomed, even if in the end I speak them poorly. To me its a matter of trying, not a matter of success. People who are negative about such an attitude I do not need in my life. I would rather help someone achieve their goals, I do not see a point in inserting negative energy into other people's dreams.

Geek as a label works, and for my next trick I will be skipping the list of buzz words and such to prove it. Most of what people find interesting in "geeking about" equates to boring for me. Challenge me with something new. Intentional community and travel are two of my favorite subjects.

Trying to fit both into my life is an ongoing challenge.

The odds of me misspelling something, or creating some sentence that only I can comprehend, in this profile is pretty high.

While I am open minded about religion, I am a very Devout Apathist, or maybe a follower of Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. It changes week by week, whenever Odin's day happens to be a prime number.
