Sean has the uncanny ability to remember things from your childhood for you in perfect, technicolour detail. He saw that prize you once pulled out of a box of Corn Pops, he laughed when you split open your knee on the slip 'n' slide, and he heard every theme song as it crept into your young brain and lodged itself for use at a later date.

Keep an eye on this one. He's pure sugar.

Sean knows volumes of details about scores of things, and he manages to make every day significant. Ask him anything about anyone you've ever seen in a black and white photo. He'll know.

He builds incredibly diverse collections of images and it seems there is no limit to his curiosity. He is charming and his sense of humour is very well skewed. He's a hell of a lot smarter than he would likely admit, and those of us who love him LOVE him.

(He doesn't understand it, but that's part of his charm. )

trying to make out the name on some antique prints I aquired. so i can provide as much info as I can when I sell them. but only making out a few of the letters

First initial L. Last name seems to be a Z or a B, or even a J. Seems to be an I in there.

A twinkie for anyone who can help me solve it.

Amid the ongoing 1980s nostalgia, toy manufacturer Mattel says it will release a 'Ladies of the 80s' collection of Barbie dolls, featuring the mini-me versions of singers Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Harry, and Joan Jett.

Part of the seemingly never-ending celebrations of Barbie's 50th anniversary, the release in December will be one of the brand's last coups in the ... read more

Where the module on my home page normally has blogs, has the the above picture where my friends blogs normally are. (Hell even has my title for my friends blogs, no offense to the Peanut Gallery)

It wont even let me reset up a blog module. It keeps going back to that. BUT EVERYTHING ELSE on my home page is exactly as it should be.

Rock N Roll Nigger

Baby was a black sheep. Baby was a whore.
Baby got big and baby get bigger.
Baby get something. Baby get more.
Baby, baby, baby was a rock-and-roll nigger.
Oh, look around you, all around you,
riding on a copper wave.
Do you like the world around you?
Are you ready to behave?

Outside of society, they're waitin' for me.
Outside of society, that's where I want to be.

Big news, '80s fans. URGH! A Music War is now on DVD. Stuck in the '80s music correspondent Douglas Arthur has the scoop in today's guest blog item.

One of the greatest concert films of all time has finally made its debut on the DVD format. Long considered the "Holy Grail" of concert films by music fans and collectors, URGH! was released by Warner Archives on Aug 4.

"Test your memory and your love of live music by listing 50 artists or bands (or as many as you can remember) you've seen in concert. List the first 50 acts that come into your head. An act you saw at a festival and opening acts count, but only if you can't think of 50 other artists. Oh, and list the first concert you ever saw.

1 Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers (also first concert I saw)
