Saturday, March 22 - Vancouver joined 25 other cities around the world in a massive battle known as International Pillow Fight Day. The event, happening simultaneously in places such as New York City, Shanghai and Budapest, is a celebration of public space and a chance for city-goers to peacefully pummel one another. The Vancouver event lasted 20 minutes.

I finally made it to Cuba after many years of wanting to go. I don't know why but the country had always fascinated me. I spent the first few days just relaxing and enjoying the weather and the beautiful beach at Varadero. In the hotel, I found I was spending more time interacting and making friends with the hotel staff which I truly enjoyed.
