Breaking down Barriers

March 24, 2008 These images were taken on my adventure of the coulees near Kyle Saskatchewan. The fence, symbolizes how one may create separation, isolation. The purpose of the fence being put, in history, was because they were planting new tree life in this area. They were planting trees that were not quite native to this land and conscious or not, they created a barrier on the land. In one of the images, you can see the land and where tribes of deer would sleep at night. The fence… supports no purpose, only to try and act as a boundary with no reason. It creates challenge, though serves no true purpose in the present. Yet we keep it up? Why? We as the human species, have certain responsibilities, just as all dances of life. Perhaps we should look at our inner worlds, and see what fences we hold up. Earlier today, I was pondering… as I wrote: How much separation is actually created by our subconscious? How open do I allow myself to be? What vibration do I chose to exist on? When may I choose to let down all these layers and allow myself to be seen? Imagine wearing layers of soft satin fabrics, bamboos fabrics, silk fabrics. One by one, allowing the fabric to fall gracefully to the Earth. It’s like taking off the armor, the preconceptions of the mind, and allowing one self to stand open and vulnerable. Standing rooted, with nothing and everything – the essence of I am. Surrendering, allowing skin and air to meet… merging temperatures to become one. The sun is bouncing and reflecting translucent light. Energy is rising up inside, sharing insight and intention of the essence – honoring all dances of life; Merging with gratitude; living with the Earth. Our family; our tribes – openly giving appreciation of the reflection, Beauty radiates in everything. All we need is to stop and still. The time becomes the timeless. The camera is a magnificent tool for deeper reflection – feeling the flow, surrendering to the moment, and allowing it to be seen in multiple perspectives. The self is a wise teacher, just as the student. Co-existence is a powerful tool too. What is it to co-exist? What is it to hold space? I have seen self in sacred scenes of Aloneness, as well as sharing with the Earth. To find self, and allow self to experience life in its fullest truth, what is it to allow self to share with the same species? This can feel quite foreign at times. How infinite the distance the eye can create. I stand in great presence of one self. I love the way I be. Though to know one may deepen in the experience of a witness... This is what the trees teach me. What if human took down that fence… what if we allowed these trees to share space – to co-exist? Native to the land, and explorers living with the land, together can share in beauty, dissolving the separation and isolation. This shows up in so many aspects of life. In roots to y-our blood, in interaction with human life, plant life, animal life, all dances of life. Perspective – how do we wish to embrace life? To embody, is to stand open and vulnerable. April 27th, 2007 Time stops and I reflect… upon my being, through experience, thoughts and feelings. I become still as stillness is, Exploring aspects of these flowing emotions. Inhale. Exhale. Unlocking 2007

I have just returned home from a 10 day journey to the West Coast. I have arrived with change and growth that has given me the inspiration to strive further into my passions and dreams. This voyage has opened my eyes to further exploration into the true depths of my being. I feel so honored for existence – I am. The heart chakra opens completely, shining deeply I stand here …. Knowing!! I am thee! I can see! I am me! I will Be! Free!!!! Inhale Exhale The tide pulls in The waves flowing My water is my blood. I am ALIVE! My body beats To the one heart The conscious collective Neither stops nor starts The one heart. One Eleven The door opens Transcending to…. Ahhhh….. This journey to Intention brought deep clarity to my being. I am in awe… the realms of Euphoria. Just as my ancestors, I too fly freely. I have let go of perception It is now to be free Through flight And flowing In eternity.

Pondering and Accepting...

I feel this wave take over my body. Not take over, but merges in. My senses peak as I fully feel the DNA of everything. Take this moment for example; here I am, sitting at a table, in a café drinking tea. I have this orange cup in front of me. I ponder this moment right now. Without me, this cup would have no color; without me, this cup of tea would not smell; without me, this tea bag would not hold its substance. Without me, this moment would be atoms bouncing around. My DNA is sharing a moments with this DNA. Before I know it, I am feeling the slightest shifts in the energy frequencies. This could be a big reason why I may become anxious when I drive. Feeling myself, then feeling the car, then traveling one-hundred kilometers down the road. Should all of this energy be moving this fast paced? Feeling all of this movement, then adding in the same amount of energy moving towards you…. Ahh! Sometimes it can get so overwhelming. I especially feel this way when I pull my awareness to the road itself – feeling the stillness at hand. I find myself learning the lesson of acceptance. I accept that this is my form of travel and I trust in the Universe, in other travelers and one’s self that I am safe and guided by guidance. A piece I wrote in August 2006 “The lesson of acceptance. During tense times, Finding the mind space To let go! Accepting it is out of my control. I am safe. Believing in those words I will find inner peace.” All energy comes from one source and returns to it. In this moment, I have no separation from this cup. I am the cup – and so are you. Moments of driving with infinite awareness – I am in this body; I am this car; I am this road; I am those other people; I am those other cars; and I am everything that crosses my path. In these moments I feel my body sensations enhance. Perhaps I just need to take a moment – feel it, love it, breathe it, embrace it. Others, I experience my body freak out in what feels like shut down mode. It becomes a bumpy ride – my breath is choppy, tunnel vision takes over, I break out into a cold sweat and my body begins to shake. This illusion completely takes over and I stand helplessness. Again, I return to acceptance. I cry, I forgive, and I let go of my control. Yet I ponder… I create my own reality. I refuse to live my life in panic mode. Is this anxiety a part of who I am in this lifetime, or is there a reason that triggers it – maybe a symbol, a sound or feeling?! If I refuse to live my life with anxiety, am I dishonoring who I am?! I have experimented with my situation. At times of pure panic I will scan both my inner and outer worlds. I will send them love. I will embrace the discomfort. I will be. And be-in(g) every moment. The time is now. The place is here. All of here. Oh my hom.

Look Deeply Within

Look at your relfection. Travel within. For the eyes are the window to the soul. Feel the rthymn. Let the mask crumble - And be. Trinity. As you look deeply within me, I will be that gateway. Through me, Heal thee. This shift of the new paradigm Brings inner peace. Surrender. See, praise, balance The feminine and masculine Energies within. Ying. Yang. Forgive yourself. Being one with nature

T'was The Birth of a New reaching clarity. Vision enhanced lens. Seeing blue lightning scribbles all around. The drum spoke - Leading me down a hilly dirt road. I peered out Looking at all the trees. I just want to go run through the forest. The animalistic instincts set in Complete awareness in the whole environment. Each plant life acknowledges my presence - As I reciprocate deeply. I am guided by this sudden energy flowing through my hands. I connect fully - giving reiki to each life Still in trance The blue sparks connect us. A euphoric phenomena. This is the realization that I am one with nature. I stood up Upon the Earth. Slowly I grew like a tree. Here I stand My trunk deeply rooted And my branches reaching for the sky. Today I was asked "How old are you in tree years?"

Feeling the Earth

More often then not, I find myself sitting in stillness. I feel all I want to do is to feel. I have been experiencing Mother Earth like I never have before. The feelings of being completely connected. All eyes are open and we be. I had this moment with this tree. It was a really tall but thin tree in the forest of Banff. The tree caught my eye from a distance and was calling me in. I sat there and deeply connected to the tree's eye. It was beautiful, I saw the pupil and everything, but it was about the feelings that she gave off. We were just looking into one another, feeling thankful and happy to share this. I then began to see a face arise in her eye. It was almost like a clay face - little detail by the form was there. This overwelming love came my way and I began to sparkle. Giggling outward, I saw the smile form on the tree. We were both so happy to share this experience. I then was connecting to the eyes of that energy. I felt completely. Tears ran down my way. Flashes of emotions coursing within. The eye that I began with now had a white light streak going downward. We found an understanding. I shared my deep appreciation, putting one hand on her and the other down to the roots. Completely beaming love - both of us. The unspoken interaction forever changed me. I left feeling serenity. I will pass her message.
