Well, I thought I'd post a quick update here since I dropped off the face of the planet again. Moved to Washington at the end of May, thinking I was facilitating our eventual move to Vegas when the house sold. Instead, it turns out I was facilitating me getting him out of my life.

I filed for divorce on Friday. Have most of my stuff, except sewing and crafty items...and my art portfolios. I'm hoping I'll get those back, but I'm not holding my breath. So, I'm in Seattle and actually HAPPY ... read more

Okay, I have a new chihuahua pup who will be landing sometime next week (waiting on flight schedule confirmation, as we speak). If anyone has one of those hexagon baby gate do-hickeys or 24" kennel panels you either no longer need or wouldn't mind lending for a time while we potty train, I would totally appreciate it.

We had parent conferences this week...oh joy. Anyhow, everyone is doing stellar except for my 9 yo. His test scores are "awesome" according to his teacher but his "lack of effort" is seriously effecting his grades. He is taking hours (<-- Yes that is a S) to complete classwork that is taking 15 minutes for everyone else to do. Yet he knows the answers. Two hours to complete 15 sentences using his spelling words. We have the same "lack of effort" at home with his chores too. Taking out... read more

I just got dumped, but not really because she has suddenly decided we never were "girlfriends' to begin with. Really, would have been nice to know before I slept with her, skipped spending a night with my (now) deceased grandmother or passed up on other connections because I was considering her feelings too. So, I'm suddenly only married, feel like the past 2 years have been a complete joke and I'm pretty damn sure a Mac truck just ran over my heart...twice.
