about me
I'm a dancer and computer geek living in the Boston Area. My favorite dance forms are Bharata Natyam, Middle Eastern, and Burlesque - and I perform semi-professionally around town. I'm a history nut and I love researching and recreating medieval India in the SCA.

First - Boston Burlesque Expo - be there or be square - April 10-12, www.burlesque-expo.com
I'm running classes, and if you haven't realized how much Burlesque has captivated me, we need to catch up, cause we haven't talked in a long while. This is the third year running and the best expo ever.

This is what I do in conjunction with Bharata Natyam. Kalari is a martial art that streng...

Or at least *my* first time performing in NYC ever. I'm ridiculously excited about this. So excited that I'm actually posting in my blog after months of access problems at work.
This is 4 members of my Burlesque troupe - Scratch, Mina, Jezebel Pussycat and myself - along with some wonderful folks from the Big Apple. All of us are joining up to raise funds and awareness for the Boston Burlesque Expo, which happens in (duh) Boston, on February 16-19 2007. It's gonna be awesome - I'm coor...

I'll be doing "You're the Boss" - a reinvention of Satin's Dance by Lorraine Lane. It was the number I soloed in for Out for Blood last year. It's been my favorite of the whole year's worth of work, and since I was longing for some double head action again, Scratch said I could do it for this show. I won't be reprising it for Ou...

"Me too"
I'm the one that got Kirsa addicted. :) It's fabulous. I find the food prices a little high, good quality, but a little high for the area. But the tea and snacky bits are stupendous, and the ambiance is awesome.
