I am enjoying my sunny days and blue skies. Yesterday I went on a boat trip to Ilha da Itaparica, an island across the Baia de Todos os Santos, about an hour boat ride. The water was amazing, I just can't get over it!

I am in at a critical turning point in my experience in Brazil. I dearly miss the states and am trying to do everything I can to mentally connect myself to things there. So much so that I am not living here fully, which is the point. I feel comfortable walking down the streets of Salvador and fall in and out of comfort speaking my broken Portuguese. There's words I know the meaning to but can't remember what the exact word is in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
