Thanks Uncle Paul for having this. I had a great time. Was able to visit with old Tribe friends. And many thanks to Mojave for driving me to the first stop then picking me up at midnight at Lucky 13 and taking me home.

Wow, I have to say that Sal is one of the most centered people I've ever met. She's definitely the bomb. (She probably hates that I said that.)
I'm going to no doubt be embarassed throughout my life (and possibly afterwards even) on precisely how I met her...but, you know what? If I had to do it all over again, I'd have eaten more food first! And that would have made things less interesting...no seriously!...but, bless her, for being there...even if I won't ever live that experience down. Sheesh. Now she's got me talking about it. Aaargh! Its UP's fault! Sigh. Cheers to you, Sal! July 20, 2004
Somewhere in the mists of time a bacterium digested some yeast barf. Instead of being grossed out by this, the bacterium went "oooh, tipsy!" and told its mRNA to add a few GACTs so it could sniff out more yeast barf. Thus the "Cocktail" gene was born. Sometime a bit later in the mists, an amoeba ran into another amoeba, and instead of saying "pardon me" and moving on like all other amoeba do, the first amoeba said "hey, nice pseudopodia!" and thus sexual reproduction got its start. In the meantime, the mRNA got busy working on the "Flirtation Gene." My dear Laughing Sal is the apex of the evolution of those two genes. She will buy you cocktails, she will flirt shamelessly with you. Charming, funny and friendly, she will and has knocked people's socks off (among other articles of clothing). She certainly did mine, quite regularly for the last twelve years. I can't ask for anything better in a lifetime companion than this dear sweet woman with the easy laugh, a sense of fun unparalleled, and a heart bigger than the Pacific Ocean.
