I was raised in Santa Cruz County, Calif., a place of abundant nature, strong opinions and farms. The culture of the place grew in me a love for both technology and nature (and an uncontrollable urge to recycle). I've since moved to Southern California and am enjoying the increase of sunny days. My time is balanced between my day job with a professional lead/stained glass artist and my husband, daughter and cat. All of them are noisy, especially the cat. Every now and then, I'm able to get some work done in my jewelry studio or at the sewing table.
