Lauren's one of the best people I know--sweet, compassionate, smart, sexy and she even knows maritime law. If you're lucky enough to know her, this is all redundant--if you're not, then it sounds impossible. But maybe, just maybe, you'll bump into this spectacular gal and you'll find out that, yes, toto, she is real.

Lauren is one of the sweetest people I've ever known. The only thing better than chatting with her everyday is looking forward to our future as friends.

I vividly remember the exact moment I met Lauren: June 22, 2004, at the Starry Plough open mic in Berkeley. I don't remember what music we listened to that night because she captivated my attention so completely.
Lauren is Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience combined, and teaches us that such apparent contradictions are illusory.
All this, and she's also got a smile that would cause the growth by at least three sizes of the heart of anyone lucky enough to receive it.

lauren is a beautiful music-maker. you should watch her conduct the choir some night. she is grace personified and surrounded by halos and light. after performances she takes fans demands and turns into a devil with a pitch-fork and sings all our favorite heart songs. i've never met a more complete artist.
